The episode opens with Arjun encouraging Gauri to sit down while Harsh prepares a bowl of soup for her. Vihaan can’t help but gaze at Gauri, making her feel shy and self-conscious. As she’s caught in the moment, Gauri suddenly feels as though someone is calling her name. Curious, she walks up the staircase, and Vihaan tells Arjun and Harsh that Gauri seems to remember someone.
Arjun then mentions that he forgot his bracelet and suggests that Vihaan should thank Gauri for returning it. However, Vihaan responds that they need to send Gauri back before she becomes too familiar with anyone. Meanwhile, Gauri continues to follow the voice calling her and heads into a room, where she discovers a portrait of a lady. Vihaan senses another presence but finds nothing when he turns around.
Hiding in the ceiling, the witch watches Gauri as Baa enters and questions her presence in the room. Gauri explains to Baa that she came to return something to a tall and handsome boy. Maa Ji chimes in, mentioning that she has three grandsons who fit that description. Just then, the witch attempts to reach for Vihaan but quickly stops when she sees Gauri approaching.
Maa Ji asks Arjun about Gauri, to which he replies that she’s a friend of Vihaan’s. Maa Ji decides to place Gauri next to Vihaan, and the family begins to gush over the potential couple. However, Vihaan clarifies to Dadi that Gauri is not merely a friend as she’s there to return his bracelet. Vihaan’s mother also starts questioning him about Gauri. The witch tries to manipulate the maid, but Vihaan asserts that he needs to drop Gauri home.
Gauri introduces herself to Vihaan’s mother as a cab driver, showing her ID card. She then offers to take Vihaan’s mother wherever she needs to go. However, Vihaan’s mother sternly warns her that her daughter shouldn’t be out at night. She questions Gauri about her parents’ views on her driving, accusing her of breaking cultural norms. As tensions rise, the maid appears to collect clothes from outside and catches a glimpse of the witch, increasing the anxiety in the room.
Vihaan’s mother continues to accuse Gauri, which angers Gauri. She retorts that Vihaan’s mother should keep her son at home if she has issues. While Vihaan is visibly upset, his brothers intervene to calm him down. Gauri boldly tells Vihaan’s mother to hold her parents accountable instead. Vihaan, frustrated, tells Gauri that his mother has no right to judge her character. He drags Gauri toward the door, insisting she should leave. Gauri refuses to stay in a place where she feels unwelcome. Vihaan tells her to go, asserting that they have no place for her. In a fit of anger, he slams the door, inadvertently hurting Rani.
Meanwhile, the witch gains control over the maid’s soul and takes her under her influence. Gauri senses something off in the atmosphere, but she can’t quite put her finger on it.
