The episode starts with the Anchor announcing that it’s an elimination round. Whoever is in the spotlight will be selected for the next round. Mangal gets selected, which frustrates Soumya. Later, Lipika and Shanti happily welcome Mangal and congratulate her. Soumya comments that Mangal hasn’t won the competition yet, so there’s no need to celebrate early. Shanti responds that at least Mangal won this round by God’s grace, though some don’t like it.
Soumya accuses Mangal of using tears and emotional talk to gain sympathy votes, which would obviously increase her votes. Mangal counters that she got this far through hard work, and recalls Soumya placing a magnet on the board to get her name and cutting the wire of her machine. Despite these problems, Mangal won the round, so it matters to her. Adit scolds Soumya for her behavior on national television, complaining that she didn’t even inform him about the show’s invitation.
Soumya explains that she was following the channel’s demands and rules, and went there as a judge, not as a friend. She adds that Adit should appreciate her efforts, as she received an invitation to judge. Adit retorts that Soumya lied to him, but Soumya accuses him of lying as well, citing the machine he gifted to Mangal with her money without informing her. Adit clarifies that he didn’t deliberately hide it; he wanted to compensate Mangal for ruining her efforts. Soumya tells him not to defend Mangal. Mangal insists she wouldn’t have touched the machine if she knew it was bought with Soumya’s money and assures her that she will return the money. Soumya comments that Mangal can’t afford it, leading Adit to scold her. Mangal requests Adit not to help her anymore and pleads with him not to do anything that affects her self-respect, as it’s all she has left. Shanti remarks that Soumya ruined their mood.
Kusum is about to scold Adit, but he defends himself, saying no one understands his situation. He tried to rectify his mistake, but Soumya misunderstood him. He is also human and feels that men are not expected to have hearts or emotions. Kusum and her husband are worried about recent incidents.
Later, Soumya sets a trap for Mangal at the Holi puja. Lipika and Shanti attend the puja, and Ishana asks Adit to come out. He refuses, feeling that he isn’t earning anything and doesn’t deserve to lead the puja. His life is in a dark place. Mangal asks the family members to give him some time, and the puja begins. Soumya sets fire to Mangal’s saree, but Adit notices the fire and rushes to save her. Soumya is excited to see Mangal burning. Adit falls from his wheelchair but stands up to save Mangal from the fire. Mangal thanks him for saving her and remarks that he stood up. Kusum says that God cured him. Adit says he has to thank God for curing him. Shanti praises their pair, making Soumya feel jealous.
Meanwhile, Karthick threatens his family members to leave the house. Gayatri pleads with him not to go, but he demands they fix his wedding with Jia or else he will leave. Jia pretends not to want to separate him from his family and asks the family members to give her a chance to prove she is perfect for Karthick. Karthick decides to leave, but Umesh stops him and agrees to his condition. Jia lashes out at the servants, ordering them to work. The servants, frustrated with her attitude, give her a fitting reply, stating they only listen to Lakshmi, their owner. Jia argues with them and threatens Gayathri, leading the servants to quit their jobs.
Later, Umesh and Sanjana try to contact Lakshmi, but Jia thinks she won’t return. Gayatri complains that she hasn’t eaten or drunk anything since morning. Lakshmi comes in disguise as Tamil girl Radha and irritates them with her talk. Gayatri dislikes her. When Karthick loses his balance, Radha holds him and acts like his fangirl. Gayathri asks Radha to stay away from her son. Radha believes Jia created a misunderstanding to send her away from Karthick and is determined to separate Jia from him. Karthick remembers Lakshmi while eating Radha’s food. Radha overhears Karthick expressing his love for Jia.
