In this episode, Prem checks in on Rahi and Baa, asking if everything is fine. Baa mentions she’s been guiding Rahi for better adjustment. Prem questions Baa’s inability to see Prathana’s perspective and Gautam’s blatant rudeness. He points out that despite Anupama and Rahi revealing Gautam’s true colors, the Kotharis remain in denial. Rahi experiences dizziness, prompting Prem to suggest she rest. Rahi insists on attending to the guests, but Prem expresses his concern for her well-being. He encourages Rahi to embrace Anupama’s sari and sleep peacefully.
The guests request that Vasundhara summon Rahi. Prem meets them, explaining that Rahi is unwell and resting. One guest comments that Vasundhara frightened Rahi, resulting in her dizziness while another jokes about Vasundhara writing a book on managing daughters-in-law. Vasundhara dismisses the guests, suspecting Rahi is faking illness as payback for her reprimand. She believes Anupama’s theatrics have influenced Rahi’s behavior.
Later, Prem tenderly watches over the sleeping Rahi, reciting poetry to her as he settles down beside her.
In another scene, Anupama visits the central jail and feels anxious among the prisoners. The commissioner reassures her, noting that the inmates are merely curious due to their long isolation from women. He shares that many had promised visits but were deterred by fear. Anupama acknowledges her own apprehension but believes that since Lord Krishna was born in a jail, it cannot be entirely negative. She gives an uplifting speech about Annapurna, and the commissioner encourages her to inspire the inmates further.
Anupama makes her way through the schedule, and the commissioner asks what she’s searching for as she glances around. She reflects on the many potentially innocent individuals behind bars. The commissioner informs her that the legal system hinges on evidence. Curious, Anupama inquires about any dangerous inmates, leading to the introduction of Raghav, shocking her with his identity.
Rahi awakens, realizing she missed her wedding night. Prem tells her to take it easy. Baa calls out for Prem, causing Rahi to hide. Vasundhara questions Prem about Rahi before instructing her to get ready for her pheli rasoi ceremony. Rahi resolves to apologize to Vasundhara for previously missing the ritual.
Breathing heavily after her jail visit, Anupama salutes the staff and reflects on Rahi’s first day at the Shah household.
