Rishi notices Lakshmi looking stressed and asks what’s wrong. Though Lakshmi insists she’s fine, Rishi urges her not to lie. She maintains that she isn’t lying—just hiding things for the greater good. Rishi questions why she always puts others before herself and pleads with her to share what’s troubling her. He expresses how much she means to him, saying that no matter the path, they always find their way back to each other. Lakshmi is reminded of her promise to Neelam—to stay away from him—and walks away silently.
Elsewhere, Shanaya teases Malishka about marrying “that joker” Balwinder, offending him. He snaps back, calling Shanaya the joker. Kiran steps in, warning Balwinder to stay within limits, but he keeps arguing. Kiran starts to panic, fearing Balwinder might spill something that could humiliate them in front of Shanaya.
Later, Lakshmi bumps into Rishi and nearly falls, but he catches her just in time. He’s about to confess his feelings but starts coughing. Ayush appears and hands Rishi a glass of wine, which he drinks. Ayush then tries to get Lakshmi to join, but she refuses and walks away. Shalu tells Ayush their plan is only partially successful—Lakshmi didn’t drink—and asks what comes next.
Rishi follows Lakshmi, prompting her to ask why. He flips the question back at her—why is it that they always end up together, no matter what? She asks, “Why?” and Rishi replies that fate has destined them to be together, begging her not to leave him. Lakshmi admits she never wants to. Ayush and Shalu, watching nearby, witness the heartfelt moment. Rishi, slightly intoxicated, says her actions today are making him happy and asks her to stay like this forever, calling himself lucky to have her. Lakshmi grows suspicious that he’s had wine. Shalu quickly hides the glass as Lakshmi glances over. Rishi then asks Lakshmi to dance, but she refuses.
Ayush and Shalu begin dancing to Aankhon Mein Teri, eventually pulling Rishi and Lakshmi onto the dance floor. The four of them dance together, enjoying the moment. Watching from afar, Karishma tells Neelam that Lakshmi is crossing boundaries. Neelam coldly replies that she’ll handle her after the party. As the dancing continues, Rishi stays close to Lakshmi until he suddenly feels dizzy, and she supports him.
Meanwhile, Shanaya threatens to call Rishi if Balwinder doesn’t leave. Balwinder dares her to try, but Kiran quickly steps in and pulls Shanaya away to diffuse the situation. Back in Rishi’s room, Lakshmi helps him lie down. When she tries to leave, he pulls her back onto the bed. She scolds him for drinking, especially when he knows she doesn’t like it. Rishi denies being drunk and even tells her to smell his breath. Lakshmi isn’t fooled and goes to make Kadha to help him sober up.
Rishi stops her, insisting he’s fine. She continues to scold him, and he apologizes, cutely holding his ears and promising not to do anything that upsets her again. Amused, she calls him “cute,” and he replies she’s “double cute.” Holding onto her dupatta, he begs her not to leave, confessing he can’t live without her—then drifts off to sleep. Lakshmi sits quietly, thinking about the promise she made to Neelam—that she will walk away from Rishi’s life after Shalu and Ayush’s wedding.
The episode ends.
