The episode begins with Ayaan playfully reaching for Meera’s laptop, prompting her to admonish him not to touch it. In a light-hearted manner, Ayaan jokes about her warning and switches on the laptop despite her protests. To prevent him from accessing it, Meera grabs his hand, but Ayaan mocks her reaction, causing her to release her grip. As Ayaan explores the laptop, he notices a photo of Meera’s mother, Nandini, and expresses a sense of familiarity, saying he feels like he knows her mother.

Meera then shares a poignant memory about a conversation she had with Debashish before he went to the hospital for treatment. She recalls that their mothers used to meet each other and play together, and she remembers seeing her mother’s worried expression during that time. This revelation shocks Ayaan, who is taken aback by the connection between their families. Suddenly, the lights in the room go out, adding to the tension of the moment.

Meanwhile, Dakini is driving Arnab in his car, leading him to Meera’s house. She urges him to kill Meera to protect his son, Ayaan. As Arnab contemplates her suggestion, he glances at a doll in the car, which seems to trigger a dark thought. In a moment of desperation, he lights the house on fire, setting off a chain of events that will have dire consequences. Thakuma, observing the time, notes that Dakini still has four more hours to fully captivate Ayaan, expressing her concern about the situation.

Back at Ghosh’s house, Ayaan is eager for Meera to share everything she remembers. Meera mentions that the locket she and Ayaan are wearing belongs to their families, hinting at a deeper connection. Just as she is about to reveal more, Ayaan notices flames illuminating the house from outside. Alarmed, he rushes to get Ishani from her room, but when he fails to bring Meera out of her trance, he becomes increasingly frantic.

Inside the house, Meera is lost in a vision of her mother and instinctively reaches out her hand. She snaps back to reality when she hears Ishani crying, who adamantly refuses to leave the room with Ayaan. Determined, Meera goes inside to bring Ishani out herself. She instructs Ayaan to take Ishani outside while she retrieves her mother’s memories from the house. Although Ayaan protests, Meera remains resolute and heads back inside. Ayaan, feeling the urgency of the situation, takes Ishani outside and pleads with her to stay put while he goes back for Meera, but Ishani stubbornly declines.

Inside the burning house, Meera retrieves a family photo frame and her mother’s diary, making her way to the doorstep. Ayaan, noticing that a piece of burning wood is about to fall on her, rushes in to save her. In the process, he injures himself but successfully pulls Meera to safety. They share a heartfelt hug, locking eyes in a moment of connection amidst the chaos.

The following day, Ayaan brings both Meera and Ishani to his home, where he informs Thakuma about the fire at Meera’s house. Thakuma instructs Meera and Ishani to exit the car, but Meera remains unresponsive. Ayaan gently holds her hand, guiding her out alongside Ishani. Meanwhile, Dakini watches from a distance, her fury growing as she becomes determined to eliminate Meera.

Despite Ayaan and Thakuma’s insistence that Meera stay with them, she firmly refuses. This leads to an argument between Meera and Ayaan, highlighting the tension between their desires and circumstances. Bablu, seeking a compromise, suggests that Meera could stay in their outhouse. Meera reluctantly agrees but insists on paying rent or contributing to the household, as she does not want to accept charity. Ayaan suggests she work at their house, and he then explains to his family that the fire was caused by a short circuit. However, Meera contradicts him, asserting that she saw someone leaving in a car right after the fire started. Determined to uncover the truth, she resolves to investigate the car’s number, which she remembers.

As the scene shifts, Arnab is seen sleeping in his car, oblivious to the chaos unfolding around him. Sadhurika advises Meera to take some rest, and she reluctantly agrees before leaving. Meanwhile, Dakini observes Meera from a distance, plotting her next move.

In the precap, Thakuma shares with Meera the painful history of their family’s suffering at the hands of Dakini, revealing that they have endured this torment for a hundred years. Together, they discover a piece of mandra paper, igniting a glimmer of hope that they might find a way to rid themselves of Dakini’s influence. However, as they strategize, Dakini manipulates Ayaan into throwing away the locket, deepening the stakes of their ongoing battle.
