The episode opens with Raghav telling Ganesh that he doesn’t need to explain the nature of his questions for Anjali and makes a remark about it. In response, Ganesh insists that Raghav must answer him and adds commentary. Ganesh inquires why Raghav is mentioning the relationship between Anjali and Abhay when the case is focused on Aman’s attempted murder. Raghav replies that he aims to clarify the motive and comments further. Ganesh asserts that he will dismantle Raghav’s argument in two minutes and provides his own commentary. The judge intervenes, asking them to cease their argument and invites Raghav to proceed with his questions, to which Raghav agrees.
Raghav poses a question to Anjali, asking if there is any evidence of her marriage to Aman. Anjali affirms that her marriage to Aman was performed according to tradition, stating that his entire family witnessed their union. Raghav tells the judge that Aman isn’t married to Anjali since she left the mandap before the Sindhur Daan ceremony was completed. He mentions that he can submit CCTV footage from that day as evidence.
Subsequently, Raghav requests the judge to summon Padma to the stand, and the judge agrees. Padma arrives at the dock.
Raghav questions Padma about her respect for Anjali. Padma affirms this, and Raghav asks her why. Padma explains that Anjali fought her case without accepting any money from her. Raghav then asks Padma to recount the events of that day. Padma reveals to the judge that Vinod, the thug, claimed that Abhay and Anjali wished for Aman to be out of the picture, leading him to desire to kill him. Raghav points out that although Padma admires Anjali, she heard the thug state that Abhay and Anjali wanted Aman gone. He uses this to argue that Anjali is a criminal. Anjali retorts that Raghav is labeling her a culprit before any proof is presented in court and offers her own commentary. The judge responds to Raghav.
Later, Anjali prompts Padma to explain what transpired after she heard the thug’s statement. Padma recounts that Anjali attempted to save Aman from the thugs, and when one thug was about to attack Anjali from behind, Aman intervened, taking the hit for her. Anjali emphasizes that Aman did this out of love for her and expresses her thoughts on it.
Anjali then calls Ishani and Sanya to the dock for questioning. She informs the judge that Sanya and Ishani were at their home prior to the attack on Aman, querying Sanya about their presence. Sanya states that Aman requested their help in getting Anjali ready for her Gruhpravesh ceremony into the Rajput mansion that day. Anjali challenges Sanya on why Aman and his family would hold a Gruhpravesh for a woman of questionable character. Sanya defends Anjali, asserting she is not characterless and denies any illicit relationship between Anjali and Abhay. Sanya also notes that Aman and Anjali are married, and their marriage cannot be disputed merely because the Sindhur Daan ritual hasn’t occurred yet. Raghav interjects with a comment. Anjali then asks the judge for a postponement.
