The episode starts with Rahi telling the inspector that Vasundhara kept the shirt out of fear and urges her to return it. Parag and Anil echo the request, prompting Vasundhara to admit she cleaned the shirt. The inspector accuses the Kotharis of tampering with evidence and warns that Prem will suffer the consequences. Vasundhara pleads with him to spare Prem, and the inspector demands the shirt be submitted as critical evidence.
Meanwhile, Parag confronts Mohit for revealing the shirt’s existence to the inspector. Khyati and Gautam suspect Mohit of trying to frame Prem, but Mohit defends himself, saying if that were his intent, he would’ve revealed that Vasundhara burned the shirt. Parag questions his silence, and Mohit explains the bias against middle-class families. Rahi urges everyone to stay united.
As the Shahs cooperate with the investigation, Mahi worries about Prem, and Paritosh fears they won’t be able to prove his innocence. Hasmuk encourages optimism, but Leela grows suspicious of Rahi’s calm demeanor and decides to send Mahi away.
Elsewhere, Raghav asks Anupama to accompany him. Concerned for Rahi and Prem, Anupama agrees. Mohit secretly records Prem, trying to coax a confession, but Prem denies killing Ashish and expresses concern for him and his family. Rahi, worried for Prem, finds comfort in Badshah’s support.
Raghav and Anupama confront Tripathi about Ashish. Raghav accuses Tripathi of lying, and Anupama questions his calmness after losing a son. Tripathi insists he wants justice and claims the Kotharis are trying to mislead the case. Anupama sees a shadowy figure at Tripathi’s house. Raghav promises Anupama he won’t let Prem suffer as he once did.
Anupama prays for Prem and Rahi, while Rahi reassures Prem during a visit. Prem fears he may have killed Ashish, but Rahi comforts him. Vasundhara privately asks Parag if Prem could be guilty, which Parag dismisses before hiring a skilled lawyer. Gautam suggests that Parag offer Tripathi a deal to drop the case. Though Rahi warns it could backfire, Parag proceeds. Rahi continues praying for Prem.
Tripathi later tells Mohit that Parag offered him money. Mohit advises him to keep the money but not drop the charges. It is then revealed that Tripathi had secretly sent Ashish to Bangkok. Anupama and Raghav manage to trace his location, moving closer to uncovering the truth.
Precap: Mohit asks Rahi what will happen to Prem, and she responds with confidence, saying that Anupama has the power to turn the world upside down. Ashish comes forward and proves Prem’s innocence. Later, Rahi discovers that Mohit had planned his entry into the house all along, leaving her stunned.
