Later, Vikram extends an offer of a lift to Nitya, Bhagyashree, and Sonia. Nitya specifies their need to visit the market, resulting in Vikram dropping off Bhagyashree alone.
Concurrently, Rishabh assures Nattu of his imminent rent payment. Nattu introduces his niece, Shaina, explaining that she will be residing there as her fiancé has been transferred to the area. When Rishabh inquires about his own living arrangements, Nattu instructs him to vacate the premises within seven days, expressing distrust in Rishabh’s promise to pay rent.
Vikram escorts Bhagyashree to her home and chivalrously opens her car door. Their dog, Kaddu, reacts by barking at him. Vikram expresses his dislike for dogs before leaving.
The following day, Bhagyashree confides in Nitya and Sonia, voicing her suspicion of Vikram, noting Kaddu’s adverse reaction to him. Nitya dismisses her concerns, advising her not to overthink the matter and reminding her of her father Vinay’s desire for her to marry.
Bhagyashree discovers a pineapple cake on her table and questions Rishabh about its presence. She instructs him to remove it, and he agrees.
Vikram then arrives, immediately inquiring about the pineapple. Bhagyashree falsely claims she consumed the entire cake. Panicked, Vikram insists they must go to the hospital. Later, Bhagyashree receives a call from Padma, who announces her visit to Delhi and expresses a desire to speak with her son-in-law. Vikram graciously takes the call and engages in a polite conversation. Bhagyashree subsequently expresses her gratitude to him.
During a professional conference, Bhagyashree and Vikram successfully present their campaign, securing the coveted contract. Vikram receives a call from their superior, informing him of their impending salary increase. Noticing their solitary presence, Vikram expresses a desire to transform their professional partnership into a personal one. He presents her with a ring—identified as his grandmother’s—and places it on her finger. Bhagyashree, visibly distressed, silently retreats to the washroom, where she is seen in tears. Rishabh observes her distress. Bhagyashree contacts Nitya, confiding in her about Vikram’s proposal. Rishabh inadvertently overhears this conversation. Bhagyashree seeks Nitya’s advice on how to proceed, and Nitya encourages her to follow her heart.
Later, Bhagyashree and Rishabh observe the onset of rain. Bhagyashree laments forgetting her umbrella. Rishabh responds that to truly appreciate rain, one must shed their fear of it.
Vikram presses Bhagyashree for an answer to his proposal, to which she assents.
Vikram subsequently drops Rishabh off before departing with Bhagyashree. Rishabh then overhears Shaina informing Nattu that her fiancé is the West Zone Head and that he proposed with his grandmother’s ring. Vikram calls Shaina, instructing her not to disturb him during work hours. When Shaina drops her phone, Rishabh sees a photo of her with Vikram on the screen. Shaina then re-enters the house with Nattu.
