The Episode starts on the new year’s eve. Bhagyashree’s dog, Kaddu, knocks over the neighborhood dustbin in her hunt for bones. Babita and Lajjo ring Bhagyashree’s bell, only to be startled by her sleepy face smudged with kajal. They mistake her for a ghost at first, but she sets them straight. They complain about Kaddu’s antics while Bhagyashree shrugs it off, blaming her dog and walking away with a sly remark.
Bhagyashree gets ready for work when Babita and her group show up again, questioning her about not contributing to the party expenses. Nitya jumps to her defense, pointing out Bhagyashree skips every party. Still, they pressure her to open a fortune cookie, which oddly predicts she’ll reunite with her love. Bhagyashree laughs it off and heads out. Bhagyashree passionately talks about their Taatva lipstick campaign. She encourages women to wear makeup for self-love, but her colleague Zoya argues it’s often for impressing a man. The team sides with Zoya in fun, and Bhagyashree decides to work late on the New Year’s night to finish the presentation, asking everyone else to leave. Sunny tries to convince her to hire his friend, but Bhagyashree refuses, citing company rules.
Later that night, as Bhagyashree listens to a New Year’s message on the radio, she notices the office peon still working. She gently tells her to head home. Just then, Naveen arrives and insists she come to the society party because Nitya won’t let him attend alone. Reluctantly, Bhagyashree agrees.
At the party, Nitya introduces her to Raman, who quickly proposes the idea of marriage. Bhagyashree politely declines, but Raman gets offended and storms off, calling it a waste of time. When she confronts Nitya for setting her up with such a rude man, Nitya defends him, blaming the rejection for his attitude. She then pushes Bhagyashree to stop running from love and companionship. Bhagyashree, however, makes it clear that being single is her choice, and she’s in no rush to change that.
Back home, she discovers Kaddu missing. A short search leads her to a mysterious stranger holding her dog — a man named Rishabh — who is seen offering his wallet to a beggar. Before Bhagyashree can see his face, the lights go out, and he leaves quietly, expecting nothing in return.
Moved by his quiet generosity, Bhagyashree decides to pay it forward by offering a job to Sunny’s friend, even calling Sunny to share the news. Sunny then informs Rishabh about the job, and he thanks him with genuine gratitude.
Later, Bhagyashree receives a long-awaited call from her father. It fills her with joy — a rare moment of emotional warmth after years of silence.
Precap:
