Imlie 12th March : Amrit Interrupts Surya’s Engagement Ceremony !
Daadi asks Surya to go and change his clothes after juice falls on them. Surya says he doesn’t have ethnic clothes, so can he wear Agastya’s clothes. Daadi agrees. Amrit uploads Sonali and Amar’s photos on a projector and asks Sonali to return to him. Sonali says she feels suffocated even standing with him and asks him to leave. She returns to Amar who asks how is he looking in ethnic clothes. Amrit gets more jealous watching that. Surya walks in front of Imlie wearing Agastya’s ethnic dress. Imlie drops juice glasses in shock and says he can’t be her babu. Surya says just shut up Imlie, will she not say shut up ke kaka, he is her love, her walnut shell. She tries to slap him. He holds he hand and asks if she is angry because he is going to marry someone else. She asks him to leave her hand.
Rajni sees him and calls him gattu/Agastya. Govind says it’s not Surya and not Gattu. Sonali says Surya used to carry Shivani everywhere in childhood, Shivani had selected this sherwani for Gattu. She runs away from there emotionally crying. Govind tells him that he reminded them of Gattu. Imlie asks Surya if he thinks he can take babu’s place by wearing his dress. She shows Chaudhry family and says Kunal had started sweets business, this family had lost Kunal and Govind’s elder son Dhanraj, babu was studying and took over business on Daadi’s request, he took care of the family and never let them miss Dhanraj, Shivani cried hugging babu more during her bidayi, etc.. She says maybe Surya looks like babu, but babu was a sun of this house who had brightened the whole family; Surya can never take his place, etc. etc.
Surya says she can protect his family if she accepts truth. Imlie asks why is he stuck at one place. Binni walks no stage. Shivani says bride came. Daadi calls Agastya and asks him to exchange ring with Binni. Lights go dim. Amrit plays Sonali and Amar’s photos on a projector and accuses her of having an affair with Amar. He says he did mistakes and apologized Sonali, but Sonali didn’t forgive and had an affair with Amar. Villagers start badmouthing about Sonali. Imlie asks if a girl and a boy can’t be friends. Villagers say no and continue to humiliate Sonali.
Nirmala asks Daadi if she gave this kind of morale to her daughter. She asks Surya why did he bring her to a house where Imlie considers herself as Agastya’s widow and stays here as a servant, where a family is full of lies and deceit, where their daughter has an affair even after being married, etc. Sonali runs to her room crying. Agastya takes Imlie aside and accuses her of playing this drama to divert his attention. Imlie says she is not a coward like him to use family for her benefit.
Sonali cries in her room. Amrit walks to her and requests her to return home with him and justifies his act saying since she didn’t agree, he had to do this. Sonali says he lost his respect completely with this act and refuses to accompany him. He holds her hand and forcefully drags her. She resists. Amar interferes and warns him to leave Sonali if she doesn’t want to go with him. Amrit and Amar’s tussle starts. Sonali asks them to stop. Imlie walks in and tells dusht dhatura/Amrit that she has arranged a program for him. He takes Sonali out and says Sonali should apologize for her heinous act. Shivani asks what does she mean. Imlie says she heard it right.
Sunita says Sonali should apologize as photo says everything. Imlie plays Sunita’s intimate photo with her neighbor and asks what is this then. Sonali’s husband asks Sonali if she is having an affair with neighbor. Sunita says she slipped and he held it, that’s all happened. Imlie then shows Rajni’s photo with Panditji. Rajni says she was just smiling when Panditji said that this year would be auspicious for Shivani. Imlie then shows Nirmala’s pic holding waiter’s hand and questions Nirmala. Nirmala says this girl is wrongly accusing her, she was just receiving juice from the waiter. Imlie says she was accusing Sonali by seeing a mere pic and said photo is everything.
