Next, Lakshmi confronts Rishi, but he refuses to engage in a discussion about the issue. Lakshmi insists that his actions were wrong and expresses frustration that his lie prevented them from identifying the true culprit. Rishi questions whether she knows who the real culprit is, prompting Lakshmi to reveal that Anushka planted the ring in Shalu’s bag. Back at the Oberoi mansion, Rishi tells Lakshmi he is exhausted from their constant arguments and wants to be left alone, asking her to go away. Lakshmi, frustrated, demands to know why he is acting this way and insists he acknowledge his mistake. Rishi, however, defends his actions, arguing that if he hadn’t acted, they would all be at the police station worrying about Shalu. He makes a sharp remark and walks off.
