The episode opens with Malishka telling Neelam that she feels she has no choice but to be okay. Neelam reassures her, expressing pride in how well she has handled the situation and suggesting that Sonal stay close to her during this time. After Neelam leaves, Sonal points out how much Neelam cares for Malishka. However, Malishka dismisses this, stating that while Neelam asks if she’s fine, the truth is she isn’t. Sonal urges her to stop dwelling on her feelings, encouraging her to move forward.
Meanwhile, Shalu asks Ayush where everyone is. Ayush reminds her that she is late. When Shalu questions why he didn’t inform her, Ayush explains that she was already well on her way. He suggests that completing her journey is beneficial, as leaving things unfinished can lead to regrets. He asks if she understands, leading Shalu to think he’s referring to their relationship, given that they had almost taken a significant step forward but backed off. She exits, noticing Lakshmi’s Chalni on the floor. Picking it up, she looks at Ayush through it, prompting him to smile knowingly.
Anushka approaches Shalu and questions what she’s doing, grasping her hand and demanding clarity. Ayush interjects, telling Anushka to let Shalu go. As Shalu tries to leave, Anushka stops her and presses for answers. Shalu acknowledges that Anushka already suspects. Anushka bluntly asks if Shalu is having an affair with Ayush, to which Shalu admits it. She explains that their bond runs deep and emphasizes that she observed Karwa Chauth Vrath for Ayush’s sake. At the Oberoi mansion, Neel disguises himself as a dancer to sneak in. Karishma mistakes him for a performer and tells him to leave, as the dancers have already departed. Neel seizes the opportunity to slip away when Harleen approaches Karishma.
Meanwhile, Anushka confronts Ayush, demanding to know if he is truly involved with Shalu. Ayush denies it, suggesting Shalu might be joking, and decides to talk to her. Just then, Anushka receives a call from Neel, who tells her they’ll meet soon, prompting her to leave.
Ayush runs into Rishi and confirms that his suspicions about Shalu are right. He explains that Shalu loves him and even fasted during Karwa Chauth for him. Rishi is taken aback, and Ayush declares his intention to record Shalu’s confession as proof before heading off.
Rishi later finds Lakshmi and inquires if she knew about Shalu’s Karwa Chauth Vrath for Ayush. Lakshmi is surprised by this revelation.
In a heartfelt moment, Ayush meets Shalu and expresses his joy, revealing that he has wanted to hear her admit her feelings to Anushka for a long time. He shares that his love for her didn’t begin with attraction; in fact, he initially didn’t like her. Over time, however, he has fallen for her and appreciates her name. He offers her a sweet to celebrate breaking her fast, but Shalu suddenly remembers that Ayush is already married. She clarifies that she only made those statements to dispel Anushka’s suspicions.
