The episode opens with Malishka expressing to Kiran that she has decided to give up on her attempts to separate Lakshmi and Rishi. Malishka asks Kiran who claims that Lakshmi is a curse. Malishka counters that Lakshmi is incredibly fortunate, noting that Lakshmi’s presence has changed the Chief Minister’s fate. She mentions that Ojas was supposed to eliminate the CM but couldn’t act because she instructed him to eliminate Lakshmi instead. Malishka seeks Kiran’s advice on how to outsmart Lakshmi, admitting she is exhausted and willing to let Lakshmi have her way. Kiran replies that she has been waiting for Malishka to express this for a long time.
Kiran tells Malishka that since the court ruling allowing Lakshmi to enter the Oberoi mansion, Malishka has been receiving more marriage proposals. She urges Malishka to review the photos one by one. Malishka, astonished, reiterates that Rishi is all she wants. Kiran advises her to pursue Rishi genuinely instead of acting immaturely.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi reflects on Rishi’s earlier words. Rishi walks into the kitchen for water, and Lakshmi stops him on his way out to apologize. Rishi accepts her apology but attempts to leave again.
Kiran encourages Malishka that if she loves Rishi, she should go after him fully rather than showing weakness. Malishka insists she only had a fleeting moment of weakness and claims her love for Rishi is genuine. Kiran reprimands Malishka for suggesting someone kill Lakshmi. Malishka assures her that she comprehends the situation and vows to take matters into her own hands. She reveals her plan to teach Lakshmi a lesson the next day for Janmashtami.
Lakshmi confronts Rishi, asking if he won’t even inquire about the reason for her apology. He responds that she usually avoids such discussions, which only leads to him feeling hurt.
Elsewhere, Harleen, Karishma, Aanchal, and Neelam watch news coverage praising Lakshmi for saving CM Sulochana and everyone else. Harleen commends Lakshmi for her bravery in saving their family as well. Neelam concedes that Harleen is right. Malishka and Anushka overhear their admiration, and Malishka steps in, saying she’ll handle preparations for Janmashtami, dismissing their concerns as she departs. Karishma asks Anushka to keep them informed, and Neelam remarks that Malishka likely heard their praise of Lakshmi.
Lakshmi tells Rishi she has witnessed the depth of his love for Parvati and expresses her understanding, having felt similarly about Parvati’s arrival in her life. She apologizes for keeping him away from Parvati, questioning whether he is truly as good as he seems or if she misjudges him. Rishi acknowledges that both things can be true: he is good but she may have misjudged him. Lakshmi interprets his words as a critique, leading to an argument. Rishi claims he wants to clarify, but she refuses to listen, causing him to leave.
Kiran calls Malishka to confirm she’s home. Malishka admits to Kiran that she is upset about Neelam and others praising Lakshmi for saving everyone. Kiran advises her not to dwell on it too much. Malishka invites Kiran to the Janmashtami event before ending the call.
Rano reminisces about Ayush noticing Shalu as she departs. Rabo inquires when Shalu will marry, prompting her to question Rano’s sudden curiosity. Although hesitant, Rano reveals that Ayush is already married, leaving Shalu to ponder the implications regarding him.
