Drashti Dhami Tests Positive for Covid !
Madhubala actress Drashti Dhami has tested positive for COVID-19. She took to her Instagram to inform her friends and followers about how the ‘third wave’ has hit her.
Drashti Dhami shared a photo of her binge-watching her own series and wrote: “Just some good things to keep me company as I fight the 3rd wave! Luckily, I can smell those lilies and enjoy that Twix. Many celebrities from the television industry have caught this virus amid the Omicron scare. Ekta Kapoor, Nakuul Mehta, his wife Jankee Parekh and son Sufi, Arjun Bijlani, his mother, Nora Fatehi, Mrunal Thakur, Delnaaz Irani and many others are infected with COVID-19.
Ekta Kapoor, who rang the New Year with her close friends and family, talked about how despite taking proper precautionary measures, the virus got into her. Her note read: “Despite taking all the precautions I have tested covid positive. I am fine and I request everyone who has come in contact with me to please test themselves.”
Rising Omicron cases in the fear of this third wave of COVID-19 has severely affected Mumbai. Currently, Maharashtra is the state with the highest number of cases crossing 40 thousand plus active cases. Overall, as of January 3, a jump of approximately 21 percent has been reported in India.
