Manasvi Vashisht : Playing an Established Character Comes With Sense of Responsibility | Imlie

Manasvi Vashisht the talented young actor has gotten into the shoes of the character of Aditya Kumar Tripathi in Star Plus’ popular show Imlie. With Gashmeer Mahajani exiting the show, it is now up to Manasvi to take the role ahead and give it a new shape with his own portrayal.

Manasvi talks about his role and expectations. Ask him whether his lean and tall physique like that of Gashmeer, gave him an added bonus to play Aditya, Manasvi states, “Haha. I guess the makers can answer that better. I am sure that bagging any role takes much more than a lean and tall physique.”

“It’s an honour to be a part of Imlie. The show is immensely popular and I couldn’t ask for a better show to showcase my talent,” he says.

On the manner of his approach, Manasvi explains, “I think playing an already established character comes with a huge responsibility. I am putting my blood and sweat on to make sure that the audience loves the character even more.”

Curious to know if Manasvi had a chat or conversation with Gashmeer Mahajani, we ask him about it but he replies, “No, I have never met him.”

On the expectation, the young actor quips, “The only expectation I have is from myself. To be able to get in the groove of the character.”

“I have done only one TV serial before this, but I have undoubtedly learnt a lot from it. All thanks to my director and my co-actors. Fans have showered me with unparalleled love in my last show and that has surely added to my confidence,” he avers.

His message to fans will be, “My journey from being a corporate guy to playing a leading character in one of the most popular shows on TV would not have been possible without the appreciation I have received from my fans. Whatever I am or ever will be is because of their support.”
