Durga 8th November 2024 Written Episode Update
The episode begins with Anurag assuring Durga that he will protect her from any harm moving forward. Just then, a nurse enters to check on Durga, and Anurag steps out.
Anubhav approaches Anurag to inquire about Durga’s condition. Anurag responds that she is now awake and recovering. Anubhav reveals that he misunderstood Durga and explains that Rajesh has been abusive since their first night together, a fact that Meera witnessed. Anurag, fueled by anger, vows to ensure Rajesh does not hurt Durga again, even threatening to kill him if necessary.
Meanwhile, Rajesh discusses the situation with his henchman, who questions why Durga was taken to the hospital. Rajesh dismisses the matter, vowing to make Meera and Mohan pay for opposing him. He further indicates that if Durga continues to tarnish his reputation, he will ensure she doesn’t live to tell her tale.
Back at the hospital, Anurag apologizes to Durga for allowing her to suffer. Durga responds coldly, stating she isn’t in a position to forgive him. Anurag presses her about why she married Rajesh, knowing
it would break his heart. Durga reflects on her past and recalls how Rajesh had threatened her. He warned her that if she didn’t marry him, he would make a compromising photo of her and Anurag go viral to defame both of them. To protect Anurag, Durga lies and tells Anurag that she had an affair with Rajesh. Although Anurag is taken aback and accuses her of lying, Durga insists she is telling the truth.
Change courses in the conversation as Durga inquires about when she can be discharged from the hospital, expressing a strong desire to go home. Anurag questions her understanding of her medical condition and informs her that her infections are severe, and had she arrived any later, she might not have survived. When Durga mournfully responds that it would have been better if she had died, Anurag is left contemplating her despair.
Meanwhile, tensions rise at home between Chandini and Rajesh’s aunt. They argue about Meera and Durga’s absence, leaving Rajesh without answers. While Rajesh’s aunt left to buy firecrackers, Chandini had gone to see her doctor, with whom she is having a secret affair. Just then, Mohan approaches, making a sarcastic comment about their quarrel.
Upon returning home, Rajesh confronts Mohan and questions his whereabouts. Mohan claims he has been home, but Rajesh, already aware of the truth, accuses him of lying and physically assaults him. Rajesh’s aunt pleads for him to stop. Rajesh then directs his anger towards Mohan, demanding to know why he took Meera and Durga to the Kabela people without asking him. Mohan explains that Durga was in critical condition due to infected wounds that even the local healer, Jari Buri, couldn’t treat. When Rajesh inquires about what happened next, Mohan states that he left when Meera asked him to, adding that Anurag and Anubhav were the ones who took Durga to the hospital. In a fit of rage, Rajesh hits Mohan, but Chandini intervenes, warning him that killing Mohan would land him in jail. Rajesh decides to postpone any punishment for Mohan for later, leaving the room in frustration.
Anurag warns Durga that he will take action against Rajesh if he harms her once more. Durga points out that they are not in a relationship. She inquires why Anurag has come back and what his intentions are regarding his education. Anurag shares that he has chosen to remain and support the Kabela community. Durga questions him about his aspiration to be the top doctor in India, reminding him of the vow he made to her. Anurag contemplates her words.
