Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan to end on August 5

Several TV shows have wrapped up in just a few months in recent times. The latest daily soap to join the bandwagon is Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan. It will end on August 5. The show, which features Reem Shaikh, Zain Imam and Akshit Sukhija in lead roles, hit the tube in January this year.

Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan will vacate its slot for Nima Denzongpa. Rumours have been rife that Nima Denzongpa will soon go off air. However, not Nima Denzongpa, but Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan has got the axe. The buzz is that Fanaa will be moved to the OTT platform of the channel.

Most recently, Zain, the male lead of Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan, was in the news after he met with an accident on the set of the show. Zain sprained his foot and had a tailbone injury. While talking to us about the injury, Zain told us, “It’s been more than a week now and I am still recovering. I was rehearsing for a scene and the carpet slipped, my foot twisted and dhammmm…. I landed directly on my tailbone. It pains me a lot even now. So, one can imagine how it felt at that moment. I had to however continue shooting for the show due to telecast issues. I was advised to rest but I completed my scenes that day and have been shooting since then.”

While Zain has been a part of shows like Ek Bhram Sarvagun Sampanna, Ishqbaaaz and Namkarann, Reem was previously seen as the protagonist in Tujhse Hai Raabta, a show which ran for almost three years. Akshit, who made his television debut with Shubharambh, played the male lead in Lakshmi Ghar Aayi before he took up Fanaa: Ishq Mein Marjawan.
