Imlie : Aditya Ko Mila Bada Sa Jhatka
Aryan rashly drives car and reaches his office. Imlie shivering gets out of car and thinks she knows this place. He asks if she enjoyed the ride. She says a lot. He asks why is she shivering then. Their nok jhok continues, and he orders her to clean his car. His employee notices his spoilt car and says he will send it for washing. He says there is no need for that as intern Imlie will clean it. Imlie reacts and says Seeta maiya is sending rain to clean the car. He orders her to wipe it till its clean and walks away.
Rain starts, and she clean car. At T house, Harish returns home talking about rains in winter and asks Rupali to get him tea. She says Sundar is bringing tea for everyone. Sundar serves tea. Harish notices Aparna weaving sweater and asks who is it for. She says for Imlie as she didn’t have her own sweater to wear. Pankaj says with her kind gesture and love, Imlie may return home. Aparna hopes Imlie doesn’t have to do anything low. Imlie continues cleaning Aryan’s car and thinks she used to clean buffaloes in her village similarly.
Editor walks to Adi and asks if everything is okay. Adi says his article was on first page, then how did it come in layout. Editor says he is not a final authority anymore. Adi says final decision should be citizens, how will they know about a departmental store erroneously increasing vegetable prices. Aryan walks in and says he should be happy that his article is printed instead of being dumped. Adi remembers their meetings. Editor informs that Aryan is Bhaskar Times’ new CEO. Aryan says Adi’s work is his identity, he has a few questions for him. He asks since when Adi is working for Bhaskar Times. Adi says his hard work reveals his work experience. Editor says Adi is their star reporter sine 12 years and leaves for a meeting. Aryan questions Adi why his news paper circulation is dropping and people are heading towards magazine.
Adi gives lecture on truth and journalism, says he sells newspaper and Adi sells his honesty, he doesn’t want to earn profit by selling his honesty and chose this profession to relay truth to people, Aryan should challenge running a news paper when he can follow truth. Aryan says that is why he is the best reporter and he is a best businessman, he will work on the news which he orders to print until news paper turns into profit; he will teach journalism to interns and only what he asks him to. Adi says he already gave project to his interns. Aryan says except one intern who will obey his orders. Adi notices Imlie cleaning Aryan’s car drenching in rain, rushes to her with an umbrella, and insists her to get inside office. She denies and with her argument sends him away.
Malini returns home thinking she will inform Adi that he is worried for Imlie and she is roaming in imported cars. She sees Imlie’s luggage in Adi’s room and asks Sundar why isn’t it removed yet even after Imlie left home. Rupali says it gives them hope that Imlie will return soon. Their argument starts. Rupali verbal attacks Malini and forces her to walk away. Malini thinks she will make Adi hate Imlie.
Aryan over phone informs Arpita that he gave internship job to Imlie. Arpita praises him. Adi barges in and confronts him rudely for making Imlie wash his car and asks to teach journalism to intern and not make her do other work. Aryan says Imlie will learn a lesson for her mistake and says his job is to teach his 2 interns and not argue with him. Adi walks away fuming. Imlie continues cleaning car sneezing and hearing interns discussing about their first day experience introduces herself.
They humiliate her and say she can get a cleaner’s job after getting her degree. She says e3ven the will get a job and asks them what did they learn today. They question her how she cleaned car. She explains in her own style climbing car’s roof. Aryan walks to her. She falls down seeing him. He calls her junglee and asks if she finished her task. She says its bright as her future. A bird shits on the car. She says its not her mistake but bird’s. He says a bird ruined her courage, how will dream big. She challenges him with her long dialogue.
Precap: Arpita notices Imlie sleeping in Aryan’s car with high fever, scolds him for making her clean car, and orders to lift her and take her in. Aryan lifts Imlie and walks inside his house.
