Frustrated, Ranbir leaves to meet his friends, leaving Meghla with Mahua and Adrija, who secretly delights in the tension.
Meanwhile, Meher and Abin share a light-hearted conversation about their lives, but Zoravar overhears them and feels betrayed by Meher, leading him to leave in anger. Back with Meghla, Adrija praises her while revealing the difficulty she had convincing Chandan to attend the reception. Meghla reciprocates with compliments, but Mahua misinterprets this and indirectly taunts Meghla, causing her to feel upset.
In a separate scene, Zoravar mocks Chandan, using Meghla’s name to tease him. Chandan confronts him about it, but Zoravar dismisses Chandan’s concerns, asserting that he cannot trust Meghla, whom he compares to a leech. Zoravar then shifts the conversation to Adrija, praising her intelligence and mentioning their hotel’s desire to hire her. Adrija arrives and greets Zoravar, who continues to belittle Meghla in front of her. Ranbir, overhearing the entire exchange, confronts Zoravar. Later, Anurag and Diljot arrive at the reception party, greeted warmly by family members. Diljot warns her family not to disrespect Anurag, and they assure her it won’t happen. Amarjeet informs Anurag and Diljot that Balraj will not be attending the reception and then asks Simran to start the ceremony.
Simran calls Amarjeet to the stage to make a special announcement. Amarjeet introduces Anurag as Diljot’s husband, which makes Diljot happy. Afterwards, Simran invites Ranbir and Meghla to join her on stage. The couple appears joyful, unaware that Adrija is seething with jealousy as she recalls her engagement with Ranbir. Simran prompts Ranbir and Meghla to cut the cake, and Adrija unexpectedly presents the cake to them, asking them to make a wish first. Both Ranbir and Meghla wish for each other’s happiness, while Adrija secretly plots to ruin that happiness.
Just before Ranbir can feed Meghla a piece of cake, Adrija suddenly pretends to faint, causing chaos. In the midst of this, her actions result in Meghla’s saree catching fire. Panic ensues as everyone rushes to Meghla’s aid. Ranbir heroically saves Meghla, but she collapses, leaving the guests in distress. Param and Harman realize that Adrija’s actions are deliberate and feel betrayed. As Adrija regains consciousness, she realizes her plan has failed but is resolute to sabotage Meghla’s life further.
