The episode opens with Kalikant addressing everyone, expressing his excitement about both his sons embarking on a new chapter in their lives. He notices the ring in Suraj’s hand, puzzled about how Suraj came to have the ring he had intended for Jagriti. Meanwhile, Sapna tries the ring on her finger, thanking Suraj and praising the piece. Kalikant then instructs Akash to slip the ring onto Jagriti’s finger, which he does, receiving praise from everyone for the beautiful ring. As the ceremony continues, Sapna places the ring on Suraj’s finger, and Jagriti reciprocates by adorning Akash’s hand with her ring. Kalikant blesses his sons, full of pride.
As the celebration unfolds, Bhairav steps away, gazing at a photo of Malathi. His thoughts drift back to the tragic day Kalikant killed Malathi for attempting to aid the Chitta community. A flashback reveals Malathi confronting the police with evidence of Kalikant’s exploitation of the Chitta people for his nefarious deeds. She demands action against Kalikant Thakur, but he catches her and takes her away.
Kalikant shoots and kills Malati before leaving the scene.
Bhairav laments that if he had arrived just a few minutes earlier, he might have saved her.
We see Bhairav rush to Malati, who regains consciousness and reveals that Kalikant shot her because she attempted to help the Chitta community. Bhairav vows to Malati that he will not let Kalikant go free.
In his thoughts, Bhairav reflects that after her death, he tried to seek justice through the law for two years, but everyone only supported Kalikant.
He believes that eventually, God provided him with a chance for revenge through Jagriti.
The scene shifts as Bhairav discovers Jagriti unconscious on the road and learns from bystanders that she was swept away by the water. He rushes her to the hospital and finds out that Jagriti is a Chitta whose parents were murdered by Kalikant. That moment, Bhairav resolves to transform Jagriti into Jagriti Bahl, convinced that she will avenge not only her own loss but also that of the Chitta people.
Kalikant speaks with his family about Bhairav’s marriage conditions. He states, firstly, there should be no fire in the Havan ceremony since Jagriti fears it. Secondly, she won’t step into the kitchen post-marriage. Thirdly, no one will wear a red saree, as Jagriti is frightened by that color. Although Sapna initially disagrees, she ultimately concedes at Kalikant’s insistence.
Kalikant instructs Suraj to bring the Shagun to Jagriti’s home the next day, and Suraj agrees. Rohan and Jagriti reminisce over old photographs. Jagriti notes a lack of pictures from her early childhood before the age of nine.
Bhairav gazes at a childhood photo of Jagriti, contemplating showing it to Kalikant to make him realize that Jagriti is a Chitta. Suddenly, he hears a knock at the door and heads to answer it, but the photo slips out of his hand and flies out the window.
Suraj arrives at Jagriti’s house. Jagriti inquires about his visit, and Suraj explains he has brought the Shagun and wants to apologize for his previous behavior. Later, Jagriti shows off the ring, complimenting Akash’s taste. Suraj reveals that he picked the ring for Sapna. When Jagriti asks why Akash gave it to her, Suraj explains that Sapna swapped the ring for it, as she preferred the solitaire diamond. Suman warns Jagriti and Suraj to be careful, jesting that she might switch brides, leading to a double wedding. They both laugh, dismissing the idea.
