The episode opens with Suraj telling Jagriti that Sapna has switched the engagement rings. Jagriti has a harsh opinion about Sapna, prompting Suman to caution them to be wary of her, joking that she might swap the bride as well, which would lead Suraj to marry Jagriti instead. Suraj dismisses the notion, insisting it isn’t possible, and Jagriti leaves the scene.
Meanwhile, Bhairav notices a photo is missing from the table and begins to search for it, believing that the photo is essential for fulfilling his revenge. He spots a photo lying on the floor, which Jagriti picks up. She asks Bhairav why he has hidden it from her, and after a brief embrace, she realizes the photo is of her with Bhairav and Malati. Bhairav explains he created it using Photoshop, and Jagriti expresses her intent to frame it before leaving.
Later, Suraj finds a childhood photo of Bhairav and Jagriti in his jeep. Upon seeing it, he suspects that Jagriti is Chitta Jaggu and decides to confront Kalikant about it, but first wants to confirm Jagriti’s true identity.
At the Sangeet, Akash and Jagriti perform a dance. Afterward, Jagriti complains of a sprained ankle, prompting Akash to suggest she rest in his room, to which she agrees.
However, tension escalates when Suraj approaches Jagriti with a gun, trying to extract a confession from her regarding her identity as Chitta Jaggu and her plot for revenge against Kalikant. Jagriti denies this assertion but acknowledges she was adopted by Bhairav at the age of nine. When Suraj presses for details about her life before adoption, she admits that she has no memories prior to that age. Just then, Akash knocks on the door. Suraj decides to show Kalikant the photo later, pretending to backtrack on his accusation and cautioning Jagriti to keep quiet about their encounter.
Jagriti, sensing that revealing Suraj’s actions would only exacerbate tensions between him and Akash, chooses to withhold the truth. When Akash checks on her leg, she reassures him that she is fine as they exit together.
Bhairav notices Suraj’s odd behavior and suspects he has the photo of Jagriti. He plays it off as a chance encounter, stealthily snatching the photo from Suraj without him realizing.
Suraj then pulls Kalikant aside, insisting that Jagriti Bahl is Chitta Jaggu. Kalikant dismisses Suraj’s claim as a fabrication, thinking it’s a ploy for him to gain rights over Akash’s inheritance. When Suraj attempts to present the photo as evidence, he discovers it is missing. Kalikant warns Suraj not to cause a scene during the wedding.
Determined to prevent Jagriti from becoming part of the family, Suraj hires a struggling actress to pose as Akash’s wife for a month.
As Gungroo suggests to Akash that they consider another bride swap plan to avoid Kalikant’s wrath, Suraj interjects with his own comments, setting the stage for further complications.
