by swathi reddy

The episode opens with Bua confronting Nutan about a troubling situation in the village. Bua informs Nutan that the villagers are in an uproar and have decided not to allow Jhanak to enter their home after discovering that she spent the night at Rishi’s place. Bua questions Nutan’s judgment, asking why she would let Jhanak go there in the first place. She insists that, given the circumstances, Jhanak must marry Rishi, no matter the cost. Confused, Nutan tries to understand Bua’s reasoning, but Bua firmly states that the village elder, Parashar, has made a rule that Jhanak must adhere to. Nutan, determined to protect her daughter, declares that she will bring Jhanak back home. Bua threatens to inform the villagers of the situation, prompting Nutan to plead with her not to escalate matters. In desperation, she prays to God for Jhanak’s safety as Bua storms off.

As time passes, the tension in the village escalates. A group of villagers gathers, expressing their outrage and declaring that they will not tolerate Jhanak’s actions. Nutan tries to reason with them, explaining that Jhanak and Rishi did nothing wrong. Kanka, one of the villagers, challenges Jhanak, questioning why she is defending Rishi. She reminds everyone of the past misdeeds of Aniruddh, suggesting that Nutan has conveniently forgotten. The villagers, fueled by anger, decide to confront Rishi before he has a chance to escape the situation. Mangal asserts that since Rishi spent the night with Jhanak, he must marry her. Nutan defiantly counters that Jhanak is not the kind of girl who would engage in such behavior. She warns the villagers that if Jhanak is forced into this, she will not allow her to return to their home. Nutan begs them not to ruin Jhanak’s life, but the villagers remain resolute and head toward the lodge where Rishi and Jhanak are staying.

Inside the lodge, Rishi and Jhanak are startled awake by the commotion outside. Dhamu, one of the villagers, shouts for Rishi to open the door. When Jhanak opens it, she is taken aback to see the angry villagers gathered there. Rishi, confused, asks what the commotion is about. Dhamu accuses Rishi of spending the night with Jhanak, to which Rishi responds incredulously, questioning the absurdity of the accusation. Jhanak quickly interjects, clarifying that Rishi only helped her during the rain and nothing inappropriate occurred. However, Kanka tells Jhanak to be quiet, and Bua seizes the opportunity to drag Jhanak away, declaring that she is just like Nutan. In a show of force, the villagers pull Rishi out of the room as Bua instructs Nutan to take control of Jhanak.

In a moment of desperation, Jhanak explains to Nutan that Rishi was merely being kind by helping her during the rain. Nutan reassures her daughter that she believes in her innocence, but she feels powerless against the villagers who refuse to listen. Jhanak confesses that Rishi’s marriage has already been arranged, pleading with Nutan to find a solution to their predicament. Nutan, feeling overwhelmed, admits that she is unsure of what to do next.

Meanwhile, Mangal insists that Rishi and Jhanak must agree to marry each other, as it is the only way to appease the villagers. Rishi is taken aback by this suggestion, while Jhanak vehemently protests, urging them to leave Rishi out of this situation. Rishi, frustrated, argues that they are making a mountain out of a molehill, reminding them that he has already been promised to someone else and that he has done nothing wrong. Dhamu interjects, warning Rishi that village girls are not to be treated lightly, and the villagers threaten Rishi with violence if he attempts to flee.

Desperate, Jhanak declares that she would rather die than marry Rishi against her will. Nutan, still trying to defend her daughter, urges the villagers to understand that nothing inappropriate occurred between Jhanak and Rishi. However, Kanka accuses Jhanak of lying and claims that both she and Nutan are attempting to break the village’s longstanding rules. Bua supports Kanka, stating that she will not allow such defiance to go unpunished. Rishi tries to explain that he only meant to help Jhanak, but Jhanak insists that they need to speak privately. She takes Rishi aside to discuss their options.

Meanwhile, in another part of the village, Pihu is having a restless sleep, mumbling that she wants to go to her mother. Ishani, concerned, tries to comfort her, reminding her that Pralay will be sad if she leaves. Pihu expresses her feelings of loneliness, insisting that she wants to be with her mother. Ishani reassures her that she has family around her, including her father and brother. When Pihu awakens, she is surprised to see Ishani by her side. Ishani encourages her to get more rest, but Pihu questions why Ishani is being kind to her after all the insults she has thrown at her. Ishani responds with warmth, saying that she loves Pihu and believes she is a good person at heart.

Pihu, feeling guilty, admits that she considers herself a bad person. Ishani counters that she doesn’t judge Pihu like others do, emphasizing that no one truly knows the real her. Pihu then expresses a craving for food from a restaurant, and Ishani promises to cook something similar for her. Pihu, feeling a bit better, tells Ishani to go rest, but Ishani stays close, gently stroking Pihu’s head until they both drift off to sleep.

The next day, Pralay and Raj enter Pihu’s room, with Raj asking Ishani to prepare breakfast for them. Ishani warns Pralay against doing business with Jeet, whom she suspects is not a trustworthy person. Pralay, curious, asks if Ishani plans to teach him about business. Ishani insists that he should avoid bringing Jeet into their home, as she fears he may be blackmailing her and she won’t allow him to disrupt their family’s peace.

In the village, Jhanak continues to urge Rishi to agree to marry her, promising that she will help him escape later. Rishi expresses his distrust of the villagers, calling them irrational. Jhanak insists that she is trying to save him and that he has no choice but to trust her. She vows to help him find a way out of this predicament.

**Precap:** Bua confronts Rishi, insisting that he must marry Jhanak. Rishi, in a state of panic, declares that he would rather die than enter into such a marriage. Dhamu, growing increasingly aggressive, threatens Rishi, but Jhanak steps in to protect him, determined to stand her ground.
