The episode opens with a heated exchange between Arshi and Aniruddh. Arshi blames Aniruddh and Jhanak for the loss of her baby. Aniruddh, however, refuses to accept her accusations and defends Jhanak, asserting her innocence. Frustrated, Arshi retorts that she knew he wouldn’t agree with her and declares that she will no longer make sacrifices. Aniruddh counters by reminding her that she left him to go to Dubai. Arshi responds by calling it one of the best decisions she ever made, stating that she intends to focus on her career, as she has already wasted enough time because of him and the baby. She demands that Aniruddh stop asking about her whereabouts or personal matters.
Aniruddh agrees, saying he will not ask anything. However, Arshi warns him not to think she will ever divorce him. Aniruddh clarifies that he hasn’t asked for a divorce. Arshi accuses him of wanting a divorce to be with Jhanak. Aniruddh calmly replies that he hopes Arshi finds success in her career, but she brushes off his comment, saying she will succeed for her own sake. She then mocks Jhanak, referring to her as the “maid of the house,” and sarcastically asks if Aniruddh is offended. Aniruddh denies being offended but excuses himself, saying he is late for work. Arshi curtly ends the conversation, expressing her disinterest in continuing to talk, and leaves.
Elsewhere, Bipasha meets Sarveshwar with a serious matter to discuss. Sarveshwar, however, shifts the conversation toward their relationship and questions if she has had any trouble with her in-laws. Bipasha brushes off the question and tells him she has come to discuss something important. Sarveshwar declares that Nandini is still his wife and that he intends to take her to Banaras. He asks if Bipasha has brought money for him, but she says she doesn’t have any. Sarveshwar, unfazed, insists that he has debts to pay and demands money from her.
When Bipasha refuses, Sarveshwar suggests she come to Banaras with him and work to repay his debts. Disgusted, she confronts him, asking how he could make such a shameless demand. Sarveshwar dismisses her objections and claims she cannot live a normal life in the Bose house. Bipasha, exasperated, offers to hand over Jhanak to him instead, suggesting he take Jhanak to Banaras. Sarveshwar hesitates, saying he cannot force Jhanak to come with him and questioning why she would agree. Bipasha insists they will find a way to handle it. She remarks that she would rather die than accompany him and adds that Jhanak’s beauty would make it easy for Sarveshwar to earn money. She persuades him to support her plan, and he reluctantly agrees. Bipasha then leaves.
Meanwhile, Choton apologizes to Mrinalini on behalf of his family, acknowledging that Tanuja and Bipasha dislike her and often insult her. He regrets that Mrinalini cannot find peace in his house. Mrinalini reassures him, saying it’s all right. Choton, however, feels he has failed her, but she encourages him not to feel that way.
In the bustling marketplace, Aniruddh notices Jhanak walking alone and questions why she ventured out when danger might be lurking. Jhanak defiantly tells him that she will live her life as she pleases. Aniruddh, concerned, offers her a ride home, but she refuses, asserting that he cannot control her decisions. Aniruddh admits that he has not given her the place in his life that she deserves, but Jhanak rejects his sentiment, telling him she is not a toy to be manipulated. Aniruddh asks if she has decided to leave his home, to which Jhanak retorts that she never intended to stay there forever. Aniruddh tells her he hopes she will stay.
Jhanak firmly advises Aniruddh to focus on his own life and work instead. She warns that if she accompanies him, she will only face further humiliation. She then shifts the conversation to the case of the baby, raising her suspicions about what happened. Aniruddh brushes off her concerns, reassuring her that the hospital’s reputation makes such a situation unlikely. However, Jhanak insists that the baby was not in critical condition and suggests that a nurse may have exchanged the babies for money. Spotting Omkar nearby, Jhanak points him out to Aniruddh.
Omkar notices them as well and quickly leaves. Jhanak remarks that Omkar is trying to avoid her, but Aniruddh believes he is simply steering clear of unnecessary drama. Jhanak, still distrustful, insists that her suspicions have only grown stronger and vows to uncover the truth. Aniruddh urges her to stop overthinking and suggests they return home. Jhanak, resolute, declares that time will eventually reveal the truth.
**Precap:** Jhanak expresses her unwavering belief that the baby is alive and promises that the truth will come to light one day.
