Meanwhile, Laal and Bipasha witness their interaction, with Bipasha snapping a photo and questioning their conversation. Aniruddh defends their discussion, but Jhanak turns and walks inside.
In another part of the house, Choton presents gifts to Meenu, who sweetly asks what they are for. He explains that he wants to prove everyone wrong about being useless. Meenu appreciates the gifts but urges him to be more responsible. She halts him as he attempts to leave, reminding him that they need to save money for their upcoming marriage. Choton reveals a beautiful gift that Jhanak picked out, and Meenu admires it, noting that Jhanak is facing injustice at home. Just then, Meenu’s father arrives, and Choton gifts him a pen, bringing back fond memories as Meenu’s father shares that he had the same one, which he lost.
Elsewhere, Apu confides in Anuradha, sobbing about a difficult situation. Anuradha tries to reassure her, explaining it’s just treatment, but Apu refuses to visit the hospital. Lalon insists that Apu must go, to which she reacts angrily, calling him bad. Lalon inquires about Jimli, and Anuradha mentions she’s at college to apply for her exams, convinced Anindo encouraged her to pursue graduation.
Lalon then asks Anuradha if the builder has arrived, to which she responds nervously that no one has come, expressing concern about keeping the money safe. Lalon reassures her that Basti is a safe place and offers to contact the builder himself. Apu interrupts, insisting Lalon cannot go anywhere.
