The episode opens with Aniruddh expressing his deep concern to Apu about Jhanak, stating that she is now living in a different world and implies that her return is unlikely. Apu, however, counters Aniruddh’s perspective, insisting that he has never truly understood Jhanak and her struggles. Just then, Mimi enters the scene, announcing that she has come to visit Apu. Apu observes how much Mimi has matured and taken on responsibilities, and she suggests that Mimi should consider marrying Anirban. With a hint of melancholy, Apu mentions that she might not be around to witness Mimi’s wedding, emphasizing the gravity of her health situation.

Mimi, visibly upset by Apu’s words, insists that Apu should be an active participant in her marriage rituals, indicating that she wants her mother to be there for her special day. Apu, however, grimly informs Mimi that her condition is dire, which is why Lalon, their family member, has been in tears. She expresses her belief that no one is truly eating well, showcasing the emotional toll her illness has taken on the family. Mimi, filled with concern, cannot bear to see Apu in such a state and suggests that perhaps they should seek treatment for Apu in another city.

Meanwhile, Lalon, overwhelmed by the situation, reveals his attempts to do everything possible to help Apu, but his tears betray his helplessness. Mimi urges him to remain strong and not to cry in front of Apu, wanting to shield her from any additional distress. Moon, another character in the scene, inquires about Apu’s condition. Aniruddh responds somberly, confirming that Apu is indeed unwell. Moon, trying to provide comfort, places her hand on Apu’s head, expressing her belief that Apu will recover soon. She encourages Apu to share a story, and Apu agrees, choosing to tell the tale of Jhanak.

As Apu narrates Jhanak’s story, she reflects on her own mortality and expresses her wish to see Jhanak one last time before her time runs out. Mimi, eager to bridge this connection, suggests they video call Jhanak. With Aniruddh’s help, she retrieves Jhanak’s phone number. Moon, curious about Jhanak, learns from Anjana that Nutan is actually Jhanak.

The video call is initiated, and Jhanak greets Mimi, asking about Moon’s well-being. Mimi reassures her that Moon is fine and informs Jhanak that Apu wishes to speak with her. When Apu speaks to Jhanak, she candidly expresses her belief that she may not have many days left. She mentions that Aniruddh told her Jhanak is now married and wistfully states how nice it would have been if Jhanak were present. Jhanak, attempting to be optimistic, insists that nothing will happen to Apu. However, Apu, aware of her fate, tells Jhanak that she can sense her story is nearing its conclusion, while also hoping that Jhanak’s life is filled with everything she desires, particularly Aniruddh. Jhanak, uncomfortable with the heavy conversation, suggests changing the topic. Moon, eager to connect, expresses her desire to speak to her mother, prompting Jhanak to excuse herself and disconnect the call, leaving Apu feeling a mix of emotions.

In a parallel storyline, Ambika discusses with Abhijeet the need to move to a new house, believing it might help their situation. Abhijeet, however, argues that changing their environment will not resolve their problems and advises Ishani to remain composed. Ishani, frustrated, questions how she can stay silent about the issues at college. Ambika insists that Ishani should not attend college, but Abhijeet firmly states that she will go. Ambika blames Ishani for the troubles they are facing, claiming that society will not accept her aspirations to become an IPS officer.

Abhijeet, trying to defend Ishani, asks Ambika why she is instilling fear in her. Ambika, desperate, urges Abhijeet to withdraw the legal case against them, but he stands firm in his decision. She pressures him about whether he will take Ishani to court, to which he responds that he cannot abandon Jeet. Ambika warns him that his family will not support him and reveals that Anindya has agreed to Ishani and Jeet’s marriage. She implores Ishani to stay home and abandon her dreams of joining the police force, citing societal barriers.

Meanwhile, Jhanak, affected by the conversation with Moon, reflects on her own weaknesses. She prays for Apu and Moon, realizing she must gather strength for Moon’s future and wipes away her tears.

Back at Apu’s home, Mimi continues to press Aniruddh about Jhanak’s marital status. Aniruddh, frustrated, asks her to drop the subject of Jhanak, labeling her as selfish for disconnecting the call with Moon. Apu, defending Jhanak, insists that she doesn’t want to hear any negative remarks about her. Kajol, concerned for Apu’s health, advises her to rest more. Moon, feeling hurt that her mother didn’t engage with her, declares that she won’t speak to her mother either. Apu reassures Moon that one day she will understand why Jhanak had to end the call. Exhausted, Apu soon falls asleep.

The following day, Nutan experiences nausea and vomiting, prompting Rani to check on her. Nutan admits to feeling dizzy, which raises Kanka’s suspicions about a possible pregnancy despite her and Parashar not sharing a room. Kanka interprets these symptoms as signs of pregnancy. Nutan, reflecting on her past encounter with Aniruddh, is soon examined by Bua, who confirms her pregnancy.

Parashar arrives with his friends, and Rani urges him to celebrate the news with sweets. Bua tells Parashar to take good care of Nutan, but he is taken aback when Bua reveals that Nutan is pregnant. Shocked by the revelation, Parashar decides he must inform Aniruddh about this unexpected turn of events. Meanwhile, Nutan resolves to raise her child independently, setting the stage for future conflicts.

**Precap:** Parashar confronts the truth, revealing that he is not the father of Nutan’s baby, leading Kanka to question who the real father is and suggesting that Nutan should leave the village altogether.
