The episode opens with a poignant moment as Parashar inquires of Nutan if she has given any thought to a name for her soon-to-arrive baby. Nutan, with a gentle smile, responds that she wishes to name her daughter Jhanak. Parashar, slightly taken aback, reminds her that Jhanak is indeed her own name. Nutan clarifies, expressing that while her name is Jhanak, she wants to pass this name on to her daughter. She explains that the name Jhanak holds a special significance related to dance, an art form that she cherishes deeply. Nutan expresses her hopes that everything will go smoothly with the birth and upbringing of her child.

As the conversation continues, Parashar encourages Nutan to eat the fruits he has brought for her, a gesture of care and support. He then shares his thoughts on Aniruddh, suggesting that he believes Aniruddh has deep feelings for Nutan. However, Nutan seems uncomfortable with this topic and asks Parashar to refrain from discussing it. Parashar then reveals his intention to travel to the city to engage in politics, urging Nutan to remain at home and take care of the baby during his absence.

Suddenly, Nutan notices that Aniruddh is calling her. Parashar urges her to answer the call, but Nutan hesitates, expressing her reluctance to speak with him. After some persuasion from Parashar, she reluctantly picks up the call and puts it on speakerphone as Aniruddh requests. The mood shifts dramatically when Aniruddh delivers the heartbreaking news that Apu has passed away. Nutan is taken aback and immediately asks how it happened. Aniruddh explains that Anjana, Apu’s mother, had asked him to inform her of this tragic event. He also mentions that his company plans to come to the village to build a school, which he wishes to name after Apu, and then disconnects the call.

Overwhelmed by grief, Nutan breaks down in tears, sharing her sorrow with Parashar. She laments the loss of Apu, expressing her regret that she never had the chance to say goodbye. Parashar, sensing her need for solitude in this moment of mourning, tells Nutan that she needs to be alone and quietly leaves the room, leaving Nutan to grapple with her emotions.

Meanwhile, in a different setting, Ishani enters the principal’s office, where the principal addresses her regarding the recent incident that has caused a stir. Ishani downplays the situation, insisting that nothing major occurred and that her father intervened just in time to protect her. However, the principal informs Ishani that the parents of other students are against her attending school, leading to a difficult decision: she must study from home and only come to the college to take her exams. The principal insists that this decision is made with Ishani’s best interests in mind.

Ishani protests, questioning how she can adequately prepare for her exams from home. The principal encourages her to find strength in this challenging situation, asserting that she knows Ishani is capable of overcoming adversity. Ishani expresses her frustration, feeling that the public perception shaped by the media is overshadowing her truth. The principal, however, remains firm, stating that the college management’s decision is final. Ishani, feeling unheard and frustrated, leaves the principal’s office, grappling with the injustice of her circumstances.

As the scene shifts, Anjana is shown reflecting on her cherished memories with Apu, tears streaming down her face as she mourns her loss. Lalon, Apu’s husband, recalls their wedding day, filled with joy and love, which now feels like a distant memory. Aniruddh tries to console Anjana, while Choton, in his innocence, asks Apu to be happy and sing for everyone, unaware of the gravity of the situation. Anuradha, Apu’s mother, expresses her deep sorrow, describing Apu as the light of their home and lamenting Lalon’s shattered spirit without her. Anjana acknowledges the love and respect Apu received from her family, reflecting on how happy Apu was after her marriage, only to have her happiness cruelly taken away.

Later, Abhijeet seeks information about Ishani from Ambika, who informs him that Ishani has been barred from attending college. Ambika explains that media attention has made their situation precarious, prompting the need for them to consider moving to another house. Ishani, visibly distressed, comes downstairs in tears, prompting Abhijeet to assure her that he will talk to the principal on her behalf. However, Ambika interjects, stating that there is little he can do in this situation. Ishani expresses her frustration about being judged based on newspaper articles rather than her character. Abhijeet admits that even his colleagues have questioned him about Ishani, indicating the widespread impact of the rumors.

Ambika, feeling the weight of societal expectations, argues that they live in a society governed by its own rules. She worries about Ishani’s future and suggests that they need to consider her marriage as a viable option to alleviate the burden on the family. Abhijeet, shocked by this suggestion, questions how Ambika, as a mother, can advocate for such a drastic measure. Ambika counters that she has other children to think about, implying that Ishani’s situation could jeopardize their futures as well.

Meanwhile, the emotional turmoil continues as Bablu desperately calls out to Apu, urging her to wake up. Aniruddh reassures everyone that Apu will always be with them in spirit. Lalon, feeling defeated as a brother, apologizes to Apu for not being able to protect her and weeps openly. Mimi arrives, trying to provide comfort by suggesting that Apu can still hear them and see them. Anjana, unable to let go of Apu’s memory, expresses her anguish over losing her innocent daughter, questioning how Apu could leave them so suddenly. Mimi gently tells Lalon that it is time to begin the last rites, and Kajol encourages Lalon to say goodbye to Apu one last time.

In the climax of the episode, a distressing scene unfolds as Nutan suddenly collapses, screaming in pain. Daimaa rushes to her side, examining her condition with concern, stating that something is clearly wrong. Nutan, filled with anxiety, worries about the well-being of her baby, leaving viewers on the edge of their seats as the episode concludes.
