The episode commences with the wedding ceremony of Appu, taking place in her family home. Appu and her parents exhibit great joy as they celebrate their daughter’s marriage. However, Tanuja struggles to partake in the festivities, and upon noticing her somber expression, she is urged to act more cheerfully. Appu’s parents ponder whether their daughter will find happiness with Lalan, while Anjana remains optimistic that Lalan will care for her daughter and provide her with true happiness. Anjana recognizes the simplicity and open-mindedness of Lalan’s family, which she believes will bring peace to Appu’s heart.
The haldi ceremony begins, with family members applying haldi to Appu’s face one by one. When Mimi applies haldi to Arshi, she reacts with anger and displays an unusual response. Subho devises a plan to prevent the marriage, fearing that Lalan could become his greatest adversary. He worries that if Lalan and his mother uncover the troubling history of his father, it could lead to dire consequences.
Shortly thereafter, Lalan’s sister arrives at the Bose household, accompanied by some friends bearing gifts. Shuvo and Srishti express their disdain for their attire and presence, as they come from a less privileged background. Nevertheless, Lalan’s sister embraces Appu with genuine affection and care.
Upon noticing Aniruddha arriving with Jhanak, Srishti’s anger intensifies. She inquires of Tanuja about their whereabouts together. Arshi also questions Aniruddha, who explains that he was sent by his father to fetch Chhoton. However, Arshi struggles to accept that her husband was with Jhanak. Srishti further interrogates him on the matter, bombarding him with questions to which Aniruddha offers no responses.
Jhanak Mimi and Anjana perform a dance together in celebration of the haldi ceremony. Their enjoyment and festive spirit bring immense joy to Appu. Following the dance, Appu is invited to sing a song. Meanwhile, Subho and Tanuja eagerly anticipate the next theatrical performance. After her own act, Appu insists that Jhanak and Aniruddha join her in playing with haldi. However, the two are unable to tolerate each other’s company and begin to argue. Subsequently, Mrinalini is encouraged to express her feelings to Chhoton, allowing him to understand her emotions.
