Katha Ankahee 22nd December 2022 Written Episode Update

Katha asks her doctor if they can ask team of doctors from New York to wait for a while, or if someone from India can treat Arav. The doctor question her for not being able to arrange the money yet, they have tried hard enough to get Arav a donor and a team from New York to conduct his transplant. Above that, Arav has been fighting for a long time he cannot persist further with it.

Katha request him, she is assured that he can save Arav without any external help, he has been treating Arav for a long time. The doctor understands that Katha is tired, as a doctor he knows what patient can fight the battle or not. When it comes to Arav, Katha has been his strength all along. He requests her to arrange the money, Arav is lucky to get a donor to save his life. Katha puts the phone, lies her head on the table with tears running down her face.

Viaan get up from the chair to see Katha approaching him. Katha enter the officer. Viaan is about to say something, but Katha agrees with his condition. She agrees to his condition but has some of her own. Viaan in anger and bitterness questions her about the conditions. She wants Viaan to never speak to her about it again, his job or position in the office should not get effected by it. Viaan asks when. Katha tells that tonight, and she wants the money immediately after it. Viaan agrees to her in hatred and resentment. Katha leaves the room.

Viaan while on his way home recalls Katha asking him for money. Katha on her way to hospital recalls Arav and his enthusiasm to play. Viaan was trying to change his opinion about woman, but darkness does not light up anything.

Viaan’s mother questions Ashan about his son coming. Viaan comes in. Ashan notices him being upset. Viaan goes to the kitchen, he starts making the salad. Viaan’s mother opened a charitable organization to help single mothers and their families. Ashan praises her for it, he offers to ask him for help anytime she needs. Teja sure wants help, she wants grandchildren from Ashan and Viaan. It is perfect age for Viaan and Ashan to get married, they must find someone for themselves or else their mothers will.

Ashan wants to marry but not a one his mother choses, because all she wants is a daughter in law for herself. Teja asks if Viaan has some conditions. Viaan brings the salad, for him all relationship comes with certain conditions. Ashan questions him about trusting. Viaan knows, but for him broken trust is worst pain to manage. Ashan asks everyone to chill. Teju tells the story of woman who barged in the officer today, she looked desperate. Teju was shocked to see her, told that all the woman needed were socks.

She sold old utensils to buy clothes for her son but had no money left to buy him socks. Teju lend her some money from organization’s fund. Viaan recalls Katha asking for loan. Viaan asks Teju to be careful, there can be people taking advantage of her kindness. Ashan reminds that Teju owns a charity NGO. He plans to celebrate Teju’s first charity, invites everyone for dinner. Viaan denies, he has some business to deal with.

Mr. Grewal reads newspaper while his granddaughters play around him. One of the daughters requests her mother to buy her a new tablet. Reet questions as she already has one. Mr. Garewal asks Reet not to deny their wishes. He wants to fulfil all their wishes. Reet wonders Mr. Garewal’s affection towards a grandson. Aditiya informs about him leaving for a meeting, he asks Mr. Garewal to call a doctor for his coughs.

Mr. Garewal denies as doctor have never been able to cure him. He points towards his wife. Aditya asks Reet why his father and mother were not talking. Reet informs that Mr. Garewal refused to pay for Arav. Mr. Garewal wants his wife to make him soup. She calls the housekeeper to make soup. He asked Reet to cancel he order. Mr. Garewal asks his wife to make him soup, why cannot she see him in pain. Ms. Garewal gets up and leave.

Arav comforts her mother while she sleeps besides him. Nurse comes in to inject Arav with his medicine. He sigs lullaby to his mother. Katha wakes up, Arav knows that Katha slept because she is tired. Katha refused, she slept because Arav fell asleep. Katha asked Arav not to act all grown up. Arav notice that his mother is not well and resents to have the magic treatment.

Katha calms her down to have an important conversation with him. Katha asks him to listen that his mother is working hard to save his monkey so that one day she could grow old only to have her handsome and young son by her side. She is doing all this for herself. Arav agrees to do it for Katha. She asks Arav not to take her home or all her planning will fall apart. Arav asks her mother not to leave, stay by his side. She recalls her commitment with Viaan. She asks Arav to let her go the night, Rewa will accompany Arav. He asks Katha where she will sleep in the office.

PRECAP: Viann tells Ashan that he is going to meet someone. Rewa questions Katha for shivering. Katha is going to fix everything. Rewa hugs Katha, she knows where Katha is going. Katha receives a message from Viaan.
