Katha Ankahee 23rd December 2022 Written Episode Update

Katha comforts Arav, she needs to leave for the night though. Arav asks where she would sleep in the officer, he requests her to come back even if she is late. Katha cannot. Arav questions her for it, she works all day for him, why at night? As man of the house Katha asks Arav to be man of the house and take care of himself. As man of the house Arav asks Katha to stay here. Katha wants her little monkey right now; she needs a hug from him. Katha lies on his chest; Arav promises to take care of her.

Viaan is informed about the delay at construction site. He calls for a meeting on Dubai project to know if there is any delay. Ashan asks him to chill, the engineer is a lose cut, Katha will handle everything. Viaan doubts it. Ashan questions because Viaan just publicly appreciated her in front of the whole office. Viaan cannot trust Katha. Ashan taunts him for time travelling to 3 days back. He reminds Viaan how he accepted his mistake and decided to trust Katha. He asks Viaan if he has any reason to doubt Katha.

Rewa is utter joy for knowing that Katha has arranged the money. Katha hasn’t got them yet; she will get it by tomorrow. Rewa asks who the man was willing to give her 1 crore, she didn’t know Katha had such friends. Rewa asks why Katha didn’t go to him before. Katha was out of her mind; she sits down and starts shivering. Rewa questions Katha, asks her again where she was going. Katha is going to fix everything, Rewa hugged Katha as she understood where Katha is going. For her Katha is going to save her son’s life, above that nothing matters. She doesn’t want Katha to return without the money, it’s matter of one more night.

Viaan is leaving, he asks Ashan not to trust new employees so easily. Ashan questions him. Viaan is going to meet someone. Ashan gets curious to know about the person who dragged Viaan out of his chair for a date. Viaan tells him that it a one-night thing. Ashan was shocked as Viaan is not a one-night guy. Viaan leaves without saying anything. Ashan gets worried about him.

Rewa comes out all showered in her bath robe asking him about time and place. Upon receiving the text Viaan judges her of being hungry for money. Katha checks her calendar and the dates she marked for Arav’s treatment. Katha gets the message from Viaan, she is in trauma. As she picks the outfit, she criticizes time for taking cause of darkness, humiliation, and danger in her life. She is anxious as she sees Arav’s photo which she puts in her bag. It was for the first time that time came to her as a dark night, the darkest night in her life but one which will be followed by a sunrise.

Teju gives her husband doctor’s prescribes medicine. he asks her to send the doctor to give him the medicine. The doctor didn’t marry him, she will have to do this duty for Mr. Garewal, she has no choice. Mr. Garewal tells that she has the choice. She questions men for controlling women’s freedom. Mr. Garewal grants Teju her freedom, he wants to know she will do with it. Teju tells that she if she ever had the choice, she would never live with the man who never saw anything above himself, not a mother’s pain, not a child suffering. She would have run away to her grandchild, but what she would never forget that he left her stranded for 1 crore and some lakhs. Teju turns around to leave the room. Mr. Garewal asks the total amount needed to treat Arav.
Viaan packs the money in a bag, sits by his bedside utter despair. He gets up after some time and dresses up. Katha and Viaan both leaves to reach the destination.

On his way over Viaan fights his anger and disrespect against Katha.

Katha informs the doctor that he will get the money by tomorrow. The gets excited, he called to asks for Katha’s conformation before booking flight for the doctors coming from New York. She asks if Arav will get better and healthy like all other kids of his age. Doctor assures Katha that the magic treatment will cure Arav forever.

PRECAP: Viaan waits for Katha in a hotel room. He prepares a glass of wine. Katha enter the room. For Viaan Katha was the person who could have helped him cross the bridge but now he felt more drawn towards the darkness in his life. Katha knows that the dark night will always scare her everytime.
