Katha Ankahee 5th May 2023 Written Episode Update
Next morning, Ehsan wakes up in Viaan’ bed while Viaan sleeps on the couch exhausted from all the studying. Ehsan reads his notes, which tells that the first step is to take care of your wife in pregnancy, be with her during delivery. Viaan wakes up and snatches the notebook from his hand. He tells that it’s necessary for father to be in maternity ward with his wife, feel the first moment of touching your child, feed them since its nice.
Ehsan wants to know what Viaan drank at night, they both had the same drink though. He tells that Viaan needs a pregnant woman when he doesn’t even have a woman. Viaan can find a pregnant woman, he will just have to ask for her permission. Viaan points at Ehsan since he knows a lot of women.
Ehsan asks Viaan to find a woman himself, he can now see what being mad in love is like. Viaan never thought of all this before, but he can only think of what he does not know. Viaan is determined to do all this otherwise he would only imagine what parenthood is. Viaan remembers doing something before all this.
Katha sees Aarav doing stretches, taunts him for not saying Yo of yoga before. Aarav asks her to see that he isn’t able to stretch properly, he agrees with Katha telling him that stretching helps because it reduces the risk of muscle injuries. Robin told him all this, he has banned Aarav from playing before stretching. Robin’s hand injury has deprived him from playing squash, he comes to club only to teach Aarav karate.
Aarav leaves to get ready. Katha tells Neerja that she might be guilty of something. Neerja wonders how since Katha is expert in perfectionism. Katha reminds Neerja about the Lonavala project, Neerja remembers it from time Katha got stuck with Viaan. Katha tells that Viaan wants to make an amusement park, his design is kids friendly but not parent friendly. Neerja understand, Viaan is a bachelor.
Katha told Viaan that there is a difference in being a friend and a father and a lot more, directly meaning that he doesn’t understand fatherhood. Katha thinks she said too much, Viaan doesn’t share a good relationship with his father, she fears that she might have heightened his trauma.
Neerja agrees, it might hurt but why does Katha care about him being a good father. Katha worries because he will marry someone in future, become a father, she shouldn’t have put a negative emotion in him because she has seen him struggling. Neerja agrees about Viaan struggling.
Viaan shares what he learnt about parenting last night with Ehsan. He read that the relation a father shares with his son is reflection of the relationship between him and his father. Ehsan is familiar with the bond Viaan had with his father; he doesn’t want that negative shadow to influence his new relations as it will haunt him forever. Ehsan asks how he will forget this pain.
Neerja tells Katha to help Viaan if she has opened a wound. She knows how to help him, and she should.
Viaan has been trying to avoid his past for long but came across it because of Katha. He needs to face it now for his peace.
Viaan stands in front of his father’s photo recalling the day his father left. Viaan never hated him, not now and never before yet he tried because he made his mother cry. His father never gave him the chance to complain. Viaan was mad at his father but now when the happiness made him realize that all emotions are withing a person.
The emotions are within one’s grip, he wants to open his wrist and free himself. Viaan is not mad at his father only, but at the woman for whom he left. Viaan wants all the pain to vanish, he will not carry the negative emotion in his future. He will never let his son be like him and his father; he promises. Teeji sees Viaan, hears him talk to his father.
Katha comes to Viaan’s cabin to find him sleeping on his chair covered in books on parenthood. Katha wonders if she should talk to him or not, she was leaving when Viaan calls her. He thought it was her, he asked her to sit down. He was tired from all the restless work last night. Katha was here to apologize for yesterday, she shouldn’t have given a personal comment. She just though that Viaan wasn’t understanding her perspective. Viaan added that because he isn’t a parent himself. Viaan thanks her for it, told that his intentions are pure and will learn about parenthood one day. Katha leaves.
Viaan comes out, meets Vanya fixing a scooter. He tells that she has met Laila, Vanya was confused. Viaan tells that Laila, this scooter is Jeetu’s second love, his wife remains the first. He asks if it got broken. Vanya saw Jeetu coming while she was parking her bike, it was louder than expected so took Jeetu’s permission to fix it. Vanya will fix it. Vanya considers the city to be very loud.
Viaan asks her to give city some time, it will change everything for her. Viaan likes Vanya’s bike, fixing her bike taught Vanya the repairing work. Viaan asks if she rides it, gets the time to ride it. Vanya tells him that time needs to be spared, work is not life. Viaan calls her for being honest in front of his boss. Vanya knows that Viaan likes honest people. Vanya thinks her productivity is more important than the time.
Viaan loves the confidence in younger generation. Vanya fixes the sound, Viaan is amazed. Vanya thinks that Jeetu needs to give his bike a farewell now. Viaan tells that younger generation is better in moving on. Vanya clarified that it depends on the object. Viaan asks how to move on from someone near. Her father says that people should be forgiven, specially the near ones because very few people are truly yours, they should be kept save.
Ehsan taunts Viaan list of babyproofing the house, its already babyproof since there is no baby. Katha comes to his office asking why he hasn’t read the mail. Ehsan hides the list, Katha questions him for hiding it from her. Ehsan is writing a love letter for a girl he met in a party; Katha wouldn’t know about it since she never goes to any party.
Katha offers to help with the letter, Ehsan isn’t done yet. Katha asks if he is telling the truth of writing a letter for Viaan. Ehsan questions her for asking about Viaan. Katha tells that Ehsan is the one who always mentions Viaan. Ehsan does because Viaan is his best friend but what is he to Katha.
PRECAP: Neerja asks Katha to stay away from Viaan, Katha can no do that, but she will not let herself be effected by it anymore. Katha sees Viaan sitting at a food stall, she goes to him, advises him to forgive his past. Viaan tells Ehsan that he mistook Katha for bringing the light, he needs to kill the darkness in himself first. Viaan will meet Sina Datta, with Jeetu’s help Viaan finds her contact.
