Katha Ankahee 7th March 2023 Written Episode Update
Katha receives a call from Sneha from old age home. Katha wants some help regarding a woman name Neerja. Sneha has told her sons about Neerja not living here anymore. Katha introduces herself as Neerja’s daughter, as long as Sneha knows Neerja doesn’t have a daughter. Katha tells that Neerja has found a new home for herself. Sneha recalls Neerja telling about living in a zoo, raising a monkey with a lollipop.
Katha introduces herself as mother to that monkey, doesn’t know if its right or not but she can not let Neerja go. Sneha taunts Neerja for her bad jokes, asks what Katha wants. Katha asks for phone numbers of Neerja’s sons. Sneha questions, Katha is arranging a birthday party for Neerja and plans to invite her sons to it as well. Sneha gives Katha the number by warning that the sons wont come, there is an intense argument whenever they call.
Katha gets to the elevator. Viaan sees her, recalling Aarav’s advice to speak up. Viaan approaches Katha and turns around abruptly. He musters courage to talk but Katha gets in the elevator, he follows her inside. Ehsan notices them.
Katha is worried, checks her cellphone. Viaan makes a sound to speak up than changes the subject, said that he is going for architects meeting. He observes Katha being worried, questions her. Katha refuse, she is alright. Viaan asks her for going out. Katha has something urgent to get to. She leaves asking if he has to go as well. Viaan refuse, he is going upstairs because he forgot his phone. Katha left saying that she will meet him once back. Viaan will wait for her.
Katha meets Neerja’s sons in coffee shop asking them to solve the issues. Varun dismisses the idea, according to him Neerja has sent Katha here, she must have said everything bad about her sons. Katha refuse, Neerja always talk good about her son, a mother can not say bad about her sons, her eyes sparks whenever she mentions him. Neerja is a mother to Katha as well, she donated her bone marrow to save Katha’s son. Katha request them to solve this issue peacefully.
Varun decides to tell Katha about a truth, their father never earned anything for their children other than a piece of land in village area, which got encroached but somehow Neerja won the case and got the land back but didn’t inform either of her sons about it. All Neerja’s sons demand is to get that piece of land. Katha doesn’t know the reason behind Neerja refusing to hand over the land, but mother children have no secrets. His sons must be aware of her concerns, they can talk and convince her personally and peacefully.
Varun questions Neerja troubling her sons. Rajat asks Katha to talk to Neerja. Katha is no one to guide Neerja about her personal belongings. Varun questions Katha being here. Katha is here because she is a mother as well, can relate to a mother’s pain. Varun accuses Katha for using Neerja for her benefits, Katha living in a rental house without husband plans to win Neerja’s sons to get that land for herself. Varun and Rajat leaves.
Mr. Garewal operates the projector. Kavita thinks that Kiara and Arna will have a movie night with their grandfather, Mr. Garewal dismiss, asks Kavita to take Reet and children to their favorite animation movie because he is planning for a movie night with Yuvraj like before. He recalls comedy being Aditya’s favorite like action being Aditya’s.
Kavita mocks him for watching action movie, first half will end with an headache while second half would end with Mr. Garewal’s commentary causing Yuvraj a headache. Mr. Garewal has arranged medicines for headache. Today Yuvraj will get his old father back, they will eat, drink, and enjoy. Mr. Garewal asks Kavita if he will come. Kavita assures, Yuvraj will come running, he has been longing for this time. Mr. Garewal must find a suitable time to talk to him.
It’s almost night, Viaan waits for Katha to return. The office is almost empty, Viaan is going back to his office when Katha returns. She goes to her office. Viaan comes to her, asks if she is worried. Kath assures, there is nothing she can not handle. Viaan agrees still offers her to share. Katha recalls Varun accusing her of using Neerja. Viaan request Katha to speak, he sits down to listen.
Katha tells him about a person who came to her house filling it with love and joy but has a lot of pain and tension behind her smile. She is suffering because of her son. Viaan recalls Katha telling him about Dodo, he reminisce the time he met Neerja at Katha’s apartment. Katha questions how children are selfish enough to abandon their mother when she dedicates her entire life to them. A mother knows her son since his first breath, like that, she wishes to take her last breaths with him.
Viaan offers her water. Katha apologize, she is unable to settle herself today. She asks Viaan what he wanted to talk about. Viaan refuse, it wasn’t anything important, will share some other day. He asks if there is anything he can help with. Katha denies, Katha must complete her work. Viaan asks if its urgent. Katha is working on the Lonavala project. Since Katha can do it at home, Viaan asks her head off. Katha leaves.
Kiara and Arna return home to their grandfather sitting idle. He asks them about their film and popcorns, offers them to taste his butter flavored popcorn and wafers. Reet questions Mr. Garewal. He sends Reet to rest, she agrees. Reet will watch movies at home from now on. Reet leaves. Mr. Garewal tells Kavita that Yuvraj never came home instead texted that he is in a meeting. He wonders if Yuvraj is ignoring him. Kavita asks him not to worry, Yuvraj gets it from his father.
Children run away once they learn running but come back as well. Mr. Garewal should not worry, she has a lot of ideas to get to Yuvraj if he doesn’t come to them. Kiara and Arana questions Kavita about her idea. Mr. Garewal tells them about their idea to surprise. Children leave promising to keep it a secret. Kavita thinks that Mr. Grewal must act up, and surprise. She knows that Mr. Garewal knows nothing about surprises, he must do what she says.
Katha enters home complimenting Neerja’s cooking, Neerja questions her for making a reel because how is happy to have gourd for dinner. Katha considers Neerja her master chief, everything she makes is delicious. Aarav thinks that pizzas stand no chance in front of these gourds. Neerja leaves to get Katha her dinner. Katha asks
Aarav about him finishing his dinner, he gets excited to see Katha unpacking the water gun. Katha hands Neerja the responsibility of making sweets, Aarav requests her to make coconut treat. Katha makes Neerja turn around while she unpacks her present. Neerja gets shocked to see a collage of her pictures with the family framed up on the wall.
Precap: Neerja tries to sneak out at night, Katha and Aarav caught her. Viaan asks Katha if her issue resolved, she seems tired. Sneha is grateful to Viaan, its people like him who donate to old age home every Holi. Neerja questions Viaan for being in the old age home, Viaan’s mother owns an NGO, she has sent him here. Neerja mocks Viaan, thought that he came her finding Katha, she likes the girl, offers to help Viaan get her.
