Katha Ankahee 8th May 2023 Written Episode Update
Katha asks Ehsan to tell truth if the paper is about Viaan for not. Ehsan assures tha he isn’t lying, he reads out the letter for Katha. Katha still thinks he is lying, she just saw Viaan reading a book on How to be a father. Ehsan requests Katha to talk to Viaan, he wants to be father when he isn’t even married, Ehsan doesn’t think he will get married as well.
Katha enters the conference room, Jeetu tells that Viaan has asked her to lead the con – call with clients. Katha questions, Viaan always leads the conference calls, she leaves to talk to him. Jeetu thanks Vanya for fixing his scooter. Vanya will not say welcome, she will get to learn a lot from Jeetu, she gave her learning before now it’s up to Jeetu. Vanya got her vitamin D from the sun, gives Jeetu multivitamins. She refuses to pass the water bottle to his colleague. Jeetu thanks Vanya.
Katha goes to Viaan’s office questioning for not being on conference call. Viaan asks Katha to give him the exempted clip of Mr. Raghuvanshi from the 50th anniversary video she created. He wants to know if it still affects him or not. Katha apologizes, she cannot help him in this matter.
At night, Mr. Garewal calls Katha asking if she has reached home or not. Katha is on her way home, had a busy day and the travel time is a lot. It’s hard to find a cab back home as well, she takes train and auto ride back home sometime. Mr. Garewal hopes she doesn’t mind calling her every day. Katha could not be happier to know that there are people who care for her.
Mr. Garewal asks her to inform her once she is home. Reet questions Mr. Garewal for not asking her, she gets tired as well. Mr. Garewal says that Reet doesn’t go out, and there is no comparison between her and Katha. Mr. Garewal leaves to be with Yohan asking Reet to rest for a while.
Katha sees Viaan sitting near a tea stall, she stops her can there for a while. Katha goes to Viaan, he asks her for tea. Katha asks if he wants his father’s memory to not affect him. Viaan wants to open his tight fist now, he has hold on to that betrayal, anger, frustration, and pain for long.
The fist is too tight for him to open now. Katha advises him to look deeply into the memories he has been ignoring for a long time to free himself. The video will not be enough for that, he would have to look into himself and forgive everyone in his past. Viaan wonders how she always tells him something new, tells him about things he never knew about himself.
Katha wonders why he always makes her feel awkward. Viaan questions as Katha came to him with a solution. He thanks her for being a problem, a problem whose solution will require him to open all his closed fists. Katha was leaving, Viaan requests her to listen to his poetry. Viaan reads it to her, Viaan wants to take step towards her but stops himself. Viaan closes his eyes, thanks Katha. He drops her off to her cab. Viaan leaves as well.
Viaan stands in his balcony, he hallucinates his father telling his younger version about his heritage. Young Viaan wanted to be an architect like his father. His father new about Viaan’s skill, said that he would designer of many brilliant architects. Young Viaan wanted to run the business with his father. His father aske him not to plan about the future, he is about to take a step people will question him for.
He hopes for people to understand him and her. He asks for Viaan’s hug. Viaan cries complaining to his father for mentioning that woman in the last good memory he had of him. He asks about his mistake, he left everyone for her, broke Viaan for a lifetime for her. He sits down, Viaan wanted to grow up with his father, designs and building weren’t his dream but to play games and live with his dad.
Viaan missed him everywhere, in school and college. He misses his father. Ehsan comes to Viaan questioning. Viaan asks Eshan if he thinks that he hates his father. Viaan tells that its not true, he doesn’t hate his father but the other woman. He is calling Mr. Raghuvanshi his father today. He hates his father for the woman he left him for.
He has missed his father all this time and hated that woman with same intensity. Ehsan says that hate will do nothing; he needs to move one. Viaan can let go of the complaints from his father but not the woman who cost him his childhood. He wonders what to do.
A woman sitting in front of a mirror ask what to do about her earing, she is getting late for an event.
Viaan asks Eshan what to do, how to tell Katha why he isn’t able to open this fist. Ehsan understands, he requests him to forget. Ehsan hugs Viaan.
PRECAP: Viaan ignore his employee Nikhil in questionnaire session. Katha asks Viaan if he purposely ignored Nikhil because he is child from his father’s second marriage. Katha reminds Viaan that Nikhil is the same person from whom Viaan torn his sock. Viaan asks Ehsan why the woman is still effecting her, he wants to change that now. Viaan will meet Seema Dita.
