Backstage, Sowmya removes her costume in frustration. Adit tries to calm her, saying they couldn’t stop Mangal from arriving. The anchor then calls Adit to the stage for a family photo, where he joins Mangal and Akshat, completing the moment. Seeing this, Pratima tells Kusum she was going to share something but lies, saying her future daughter-in-law is busy with work. She walks away, deeply upset that Kapil knew the truth and kept it from her.
Later, in a fit of rage, Sowmya breaks a glass. Ananya arrives with a first-aid kit and tends to her injury. They bond over a shared dislike for Mangal. Sowmya comments on Adit’s harsh behavior toward Ananya, suggesting he deserves to be fired. Ananya says she can’t take such a step, but Sowmya offers her help. “Let’s focus on your benefit,” she suggests. The two strike a secret deal, aligning against Adit and Mangal.
