The episode begins with Lakshmi on a phone call with Mangal, checking in to see how she’s doing. Mangal joyfully replies that she’s fine and shares the heartwarming news that Adit has recovered and can walk independently. She excitedly mentions celebrating Holi together the next day, marking Lakshmi’s first Holi with Karthik after their marriage. Mangal says she’s preparing laddoos and urges Lakshmi to come early. Just as Lakshmi tries to explain she may not be able to attend, Kusum calls Mangal, and they end their conversation.
Meanwhile, Karthik prompts Jia to start the Holika Dahan ritual, stating he won’t begin until she arrives. When Jia joins, Karthik notices she isn’t wearing the saree he gifted her. She casually mentions the lack of a matching blouse, disappointing Karthik. Gayatri encourages them to proceed with the pooja, and they begin their prayers. Lakshmi silently prays for Karthik’s memory to return.
As they leave for the ritual, Nidhi accidentally knocks over a dustbin. Lakshmi spots Karthik’s gifted saree discarded inside, and it dawns on her what kind of person Jia truly is. Determined to reveal Jia’s true nature, she intentionally spills juice on Karthik, prompting him to change clothes. While he throws tissues in the dustbin, he discovers the saree. Upset, Karthik confronts Jia about why she threw it away. Jia dismisses it as old-fashioned, claiming she didn’t like it. Hurt, Karthik expresses that she has broken his heart and walks away from her.
Gayatri, puzzled by Jia’s behavior, receives a call from Kusum inviting her, Lakshmi, and the family to their Holi celebrations. Although she feels uneasy, Gayatri agrees to join.
The next day, Mangal joyfully plays Holi with the children, splashing color on Adit. Sowmya expects Adit to scold Mangal, but he surprises her by applying color to Mangal’s face instead. The children cheer, and Adit wishes Mangal a happy Holi, which she joyfully returns. Adit revels in the festivities with Mangal while Kusum and Sudesh watch with delight.
Gayatri and her family arrive at the Holi celebration, and she greets Kusum warmly. The festivities kick off, and Mangal spots Lakshmi in the crowd, eager to apply color on her. Feeling anxious, Mangal calls Lakshmi to check on her. Meanwhile, Sowmya tells Adit that their lawyer has confirmed his divorce from Mangal will soon be finalized, allowing them to be together. She implores him to mark her hair with Holi color to make the festival memorable, but Adit declines, expressing his desire to give his relationship with Mangal another chance for the sake of his family. Taking the color, he fills Mangal’s hair parting, stirring emotions in everyone. Adit apologizes to Mangal, seeking her forgiveness and promising to restore their relationship. Mangal agrees, and they embrace. Just then, Sowmya snaps out of her daydream, shocked by the scene. Adit notices her expression and warns her not to mention the divorce during the celebration. Furious, Sowmya vows to keep Mangal and Adit apart.
Determined to sabotage Mangal’s Holi, Sowmya attempts to push her into a pool of colored water, but Lakshmi intervenes, causing Sowmya to fall in instead. As she emerges, Sowmya realizes her skin has changed color. Ishana teasingly calls her an alien, while Akshat jokes about adding an alien color. Embarrassed, Sowmya tries to slip away.
Later, Jia encounters Sowmya and mocks her for not winning Adit’s affection, smugly stating, “I feel sorry for you. You’re failing to win Adit over, while I’ve succeeded in removing Lakshmi from Karthik’s life.” Gayatri quickly steps in to prevent Mangal from seeing Jia.
Eventually, Lakshmi answers Mangal’s call, prompting Mangal to express her concern and insist on visiting. Lakshmi tries to dissuade her, but in the background, Mangal hears someone called “Didi.” Confused, she inquires about who Lakshmi referred to.
