Determined to confront Mangal and help her see the truth, Shanti goes to her office, only to learn from the receptionist that Mangal has been working from home. Pratima arrives and expresses concern, telling Shanti that Mangal, being divorced, shouldn’t be forced to live in a house where she’s disrespected and surrounded by her ex-husband and Sowmya. She urges Shanti to help Mangal break free from this emotional torment. Shanti is left visibly shaken.
Meanwhile, at home, Adit scolds Mangal after helping her onto the sofa, blaming her for being careless. Shanti arrives and cuts in, sarcastically agreeing that her daughter is blind—blind enough not to see his affair with Sowmya or realize she’s still caring for his family. Adit accuses Shanti of causing a scene. Mangal tries to calm her mother, but Adit threatens her to keep Shanti in check. Shanti urges Mangal to wake up and recognize Adit’s mistreatment. Adit dismisses any obligation to respect Shanti and storms off to Sowmya, complaining about her interference.
Later, Shanti massages Mangal’s feet and pleads with her not to waste her life on people who don’t value her. She questions why Mangal isn’t going to the office. Mangal explains she’s working from home due to Sudesh’s health, but Shanti insists Adit can manage his father. She reminds her about Kapil running the company solo. Meanwhile, Sowmya volunteers to handle Sudesh’s medicine, but Adit advises her to stay away to avoid raising Sudesh’s suspicions, suggesting Mangal should continue the caretaking—disappointing Sowmya.
When Shanti asks Mangal again to move on from Adit and his family, Mangal says she’s happy being with her children and doesn’t want her mother to worry. Shanti suspects Sowmya might’ve caused Mangal’s fall on purpose, but Mangal dismisses it, saying she’s more interested in a strange design Sudesh drew, which might lead to the culprit. Frustrated, Shanti storms out.
While leaving, Shanti drops a file and silently vows to take Mangal away from the Saxena house. Sowmya overhears this and smirks, secretly wanting the same. Akshat greets Shanti and asks why she’s leaving so soon. Shanti responds that Mangal is sending her away and advises him to always stand by her. Akshat promises he will.
After Shanti departs, Akshat notices Sudesh’s scattered drawings and picks them up to return. Sowmya intervenes, asking what’s in the file. When Akshat says they’re Sudesh’s drawings, she offers to deliver them and sends him off. Alone, she inspects the drawings and realizes Sudesh had seen her tattoo—evidence that could expose her. Panicking, she burns the drawings in the kitchen and flushes the ashes down the sink.
Just then, Mangal walks in and sees the smoke. She questions Sowmya’s actions, but Sowmya lies, claiming she was burning chilies to ward off the evil eye. She coldly reminds Mangal she has no right to question her and walks away, hiding her tracks once again.
The episode ends.
