Mangal stumbles. Kapil catches her, asks why she seems worried, and whether something is wrong. Mangal replies that everything is fine. Kapil advises her to take the day off and tells her to reach out if she needs anything. Mangal walks away silently. Kapil senses she’s hiding something.
Adit arrives at the office. The receptionist informs him he is 30 minutes late. He explains there was a highway accident. She lets him go in. Adit enters the conference room and is stunned to see Mangal representing Kapil. He notices the brand name “Pehli Swad” and is visibly shaken. Kapil enters and says, “Shall we start?” Adit drops his file, collects the scattered papers. Kapil asks Mangal why she didn’t rest as discussed. Mangal says she’s fine.
Adit apologizes for the delay. Kapil sternly tells him he’s already wasted 30 minutes of madam’s time and has only 15 minutes left from his 35-minute slot. Adit begins his presentation, stumbles through it, and struggles to stay composed. Kapil offers Mangal some water while Adit fumbles. Adit admits he can’t continue and asks for more time. Kapil criticizes him for wasting time and tells him to apologize to Mangal. Adit apologizes. Kapil asks Mangal if Adit deserves another chance. Mangal agrees. Kapil says he’s giving Adit another chance only because he respects Mangal and tells Adit to come prepared next time. Adit walks out, glaring at Mangal.
Sowmya watches the storm and says she doesn’t know when it will end. She sees Adit troubled and asks what happened. Adit shares what unfolded in the meeting. Sowmya is shocked to hear Mangal’s role. She questions how Mangal rose so fast and accuses her of using her innocent face to manipulate Kapil. Adit defends Mangal, saying she gave him another chance. Sowmya says Mangal may be planning revenge and that the second chance is a trap to hurt his pride. She challenges him to choose between continuing under Mangal or stepping away.
Mangal misses her children. She cries alone. Kapil sees her upset and asks if it’s because of the torn saree. Mangal thinks about the remaining piece of that saree with her son. Kapil says he felt something off about Adit. He asks if Adit said anything before the meeting, noticing the awkwardness. Mangal remains silent. Kapil tells her she doesn’t need to say anything if she isn’t ready.
Kapil later questions why she gave Adit another chance after he disrespected her time in Jaipur and again today. Mangal says everyone deserves a second chance. Kapil disagrees, saying Adit doesn’t. Mangal says people’s situations aren’t always visible. If she wants to give someone a chance, she will.
Kapil reminds her he’s there if she ever wants to open up. Mangal sets a boundary, saying they are only business partners and shouldn’t cross that line. She says she prefers to keep her past to herself. Kapil respects that and tells her to handle Adit since she chose to give him the chance. Kapil walks away.
