## Episode Summary
The episode opens with a tense conversation between Kapil and Adit. Kapil informs Adit that he is willing to invest in Adit’s business idea, but there’s a catch: Adit must allow Mangal, his estranged mother, to meet her children. Adit is taken aback and questions why Kapil is intertwining personal issues with business, insisting that they should keep the two matters separate. Kapil, however, retorts, “You were the one who did it first, so now take a quick decision. I just want a mother to meet her children—what’s your problem?” Adit, feeling cornered, replies that Kapil wouldn’t understand the complexities of the situation, emphasizing that it’s not as simple as it appears.
Kapil, unfazed, reminds Adit that he is not the first businessman Adit has approached for support; others have turned him down. He urges Adit to seize this opportunity, resolve his financial troubles, and arrange for his mother’s much-needed surgery. “You have 15 minutes to decide,” Kapil states firmly before leaving Adit to ponder his options.
Meanwhile, Mangal is at the hostel, feeding her son Akshat. The atmosphere is heavy with emotion as Akshat pleads with Mangal not to leave him alone, sharing his feelings of abandonment. “Even my dad doesn’t come to visit me,” he confesses, revealing his deep-seated fears of being unloved by Adit. Mangal comforts him, assuring him that his father does love him, but circumstances may not be in their favor at the moment. Akshat expresses regret for not going with her earlier when she had asked him to, and Mangal hugs him tightly, saying, “You are our life. We just want you to be happy.”
Back with Adit, he is visibly torn over the decision he must make. Kapil’s words echo in his mind as he struggles to reconcile his personal feelings with the business opportunity at hand. Just then, his phone rings—it’s Sowmya calling to inquire whether he has managed to secure the investment. Adit snaps at her in frustration, feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders.
As he stands there, he notices Mangal and Akshat together, and his heart softens. Akshat, sensing Adit’s presence, tells Mangal that he doesn’t know when they’ll meet again and worries that Adit might not allow them to see each other. Mangal consoles him, but when Adit tries to pull Akshat away, the boy resists, tears streaming down his face. Kapil, observing from a distance, signals to Adit that time is running out, intensifying the pressure on him.
In another part of town, Sowmya is on the phone with a friend, excitedly sharing that she bought a stylish mangalsutra for Akshaya Tritiya because she believes she deserves it. However, her excitement is short-lived. When she shows the mangalsutra to Kusum and attempts to wear it, it unexpectedly breaks. As she looks at the separated initials “S” and “A” (representing Sowmya and Adit), Kusum remarks that it could be an inauspicious sign, suggesting trouble in their relationship. Sowmya brushes off the comment, assuring Kusum that nothing will happen to their bond.
Back at the hostel, Akshat expresses his desire to stay with Mangal. She reassures him that they can still meet regularly. Adit, moved by the emotional exchange, tells Akshat not to cry and permits him to see Mangal whenever he wishes. Akshat’s face lights up with joy as he hugs his mother tightly.
Feeling a sense of resolution, Adit steps aside to call Kapil, agreeing to the deal. Kapil informs him that he can start working in the office the very next day, under Mangal’s supervision. Adit is surprised but Kapil explains that since Mangal has recently started her own business, she is well-positioned to guide him. He expresses hope that their collaboration will be fruitful. Adit, feeling cornered and with no other options, agrees, while Kapil watches from a distance, pleased with the unfolding situation as Mangal joyfully embraces her son.
As they prepare to leave, Akshat begs Adit to bring Mangal home. Adit concedes, and Akshat excitedly urges Mangal to get into the car. Mangal gently tells Akshat to get in first, promising that she will follow. Adit, trying to keep the peace, tells Mangal that he is doing this for Akshat’s happiness and encourages her to sit in the car. The three of them leave together in Adit’s car, with Kapil observing them from afar, a satisfied smile on his face.
Once they arrive home, Adit’s anxiety begins to surface. He worries that Sowmya will create a scene if Mangal enters the house. The memory of his agreement with Kapil looms over him. As Mangal reaches the doorstep, she hesitates, recalling how Sowmya introduced herself as “Mrs. Adit Saxena.” In a moment of uncertainty, Mangal tells Akshat that she will meet him tomorrow because she has work at the office. Akshat, sensing her reluctance to stay, cries and pleads with her not to leave. Mangal tries to convince him to understand the situation, and Adit, standing by, supports her decision.
