The episode opens with Kusum inquiring about Mangal’s conflict with Adit. Mangal responds, “Inviting Adit here was a mistake.” She then informs Jigar they are leaving and exits. Meanwhile, the cameraman tells the organizer he captured footage of Adit and Mangal, to which the organizer replies, “Mangal’s drama will ramp up our TRP.”
Later that evening, the footage featuring Mangal and Adit airs. Mangal and her family are watching when Sowmya confronts her, saying, “Why jeopardize the family’s image? The anchor has made Adit the villain just to enhance your storyline.” Sowmya accuses Mangal of seizing the opportunity to get back at Adit. Mangal defends herself, claiming she was unaware they were being filmed. However, Sowmya insists, “You sought sympathy and turned Adit into a scapegoat.” She tells Adit that she’s the only one loyal to him and leads him inside.
Mangal offers her apologies to Kusum, who reassures her it’s not her fault. Jigar texts Mangal, requesting her presence at the studio by 9 a.m.
The following day, as Mangal gets ready to go to the studio, Adit questions her, “Why return to where we were humiliated?” Mangal replies, “It’s essential,” and heads out for the show. Jigar sees Mangal arrive punctually. The team informs her that her presence significantly engaged the audience, and the makeup artist tells her she’ll be the focus of the episode’s opening.
On stage, Mangal confronts the judges assertively. “Did you invite me to celebrate my talent or to ridicule my personal life? Why turn my story into a joke for TRP?” She condemns their behavior as unacceptable. Jigar nearly stops the live feed, but Mangal interjects, stating, “You overstepped by filming my private talks with Adit solely for TRP.”
The judge icily asks, “Are you finished?”
Mangal replies, “Not yet, I demand answers. Why did you depict me as a helpless woman? For you, TRP overshadows humanity.” The judge claims they wanted to showcase her experiences, but Mangal fires back, “I needed a platform to promote my product, not to be laughed at. My goal was to prove myself, not to be shamed.” The anchor defends their approach, saying they aimed to spotlight her struggles, insisting she should be grateful. Mangal rejects this, announces she’s leaving the competition, and walks off stage.
Meanwhile, Lakshmi calls Raghuveer, claiming she knows who attempted to kill her and intends to share the video with Karthik after her shoot. Jia, eavesdropping, panics and plots to eliminate the evidence. She sends medicine to Lakshmi, pretending it’s from Karthik. After taking it, Lakshmi feels faint and collapses. Jia rummages through Lakshmi’s phone for the video.
Lakshmi regains consciousness and confronts Jia, stating, “I didn’t take your pill. I anticipated your moves for the evidence—you fell right into my trap. I’ve caught you.” Jia attempts to intimidate Lakshmi, but Lakshmi remains undeterred, asserting, “Karthik trusts me without proof. He’ll remember his past, and you’ll be out of his life.” Jia, enraged, declares, “Karthik is mine!”
Lakshmi replies firmly, “You don’t grasp the significance of a mangalsutra. Face the facts and depart from our lives. Count your days, Jia.” Jia smirks, vowing to reclaim Karthik by stating, “Your fate is twisted. I had Karthik once, and I’ll have him again.”
Later, Lakshmi runs into Karthik, attempting to share the truth with him, but he steps aside to take a call. She discovers a newspaper article revealing that Karthik is free from the chaos created by Jia, who has been exposed as the antagonist. She tries to show the article to Karthik, but Jia sees them.
In a flash-forward in Jia’s imagination, Karthik reads the article, confronts Jia, and banishes her from his life. Coming back to reality, Jia resolves to stop Karthik from seeing the article at any cost.
The episode ends.
