Mangal feels guilty after a presentation mishap, but Kapil reassures her, crediting her quick thinking for saving the situation and securing the investor. As he steps aside to take a call, a peon brings Mangal’s belongings from the presentation room. She notices an unfamiliar pen drive among them and realizes it’s not hers, recalling that she always marks her drives with the word “Om.”
Adit barges into her office, furious, accusing her of sabotaging him by showing personal photos during the presentation and using his son to frame him. Mangal firmly denies the accusations, showing her marked pen drives as proof and reminding Adit she could have fired him openly if that were her intention. She tells him she actually defended him and managed the crisis, then leaves him stunned.
At home, Adit tells Sowmya he wasn’t fired, as Mangal had a backup presentation. Sowmya, however, claims Mangal made him look bad and calls her cunning. Though Adit agrees, he’s too tired to argue. Sowmya silently plots to keep Adit away from Mangal.
Elsewhere, Pratima tells Kusum her plan failed due to Kapil, but Kusum offers hope. When Pratima gives her barfi, Kusum notes it tastes like Mangal’s cooking. Pratima says it was made by her future daughter-in-law, prompting Kusum to express interest in meeting her. Just before Pratima can reveal the name, Kusum gets a phone call.
Meanwhile, Akshat invites Mangal to perform in a Mother’s Day skit, and she agrees. Sowmya watches and begins scheming again. At home, Pratima tells Mangal a friend wants to meet her and lives in Sagar Niketan Colony. Mangal agrees to visit, as she’s going there too. Before she can learn the friend’s name, she receives a call.
Later, Akshat asks Adit to attend his fancy dress event. Adit dismisses him, still upset. Akshat then invites Kapil, who agrees after some pleading. Adit, overhearing, grows jealous of Kapil’s presence in Mangal’s life.
The next day, Mangal prepares for the skit and promises Akshat they’ll win. She heads to Krishna Tailors to pick up costumes. Overhearing this, Sowmya decides to sabotage their performance. At the shop, Mangal searches for the costumes herself when the tailor’s staff is absent. Sowmya locks her inside and misleads the shopkeeper into thinking Mangal has left. Believing her, he locks the shop and leaves. Mangal, trapped inside, finds the costumes but is left banging on the door, calling for help.
The episode ends.
