by swathi reddy

The episode begins with a poignant scene where Mannat sits alone in her room, sharing her grief with a photo of her mother. Tears well up in her eyes as she reflects on her circumstances, expressing to the photo, “I may be poor, but I am not a thief.” This moment of vulnerability is interrupted by a knock at her door. Mistakenly believing it to be Vikrant, she declares that she won’t stay there any longer. To her surprise, it is Bobi standing at the entrance, pleading with her not to leave. He apologizes on behalf of Raveena, explaining that she has wronged Mannat by framing her as a thief. However, when Bobi attempts to reach out and comfort her, Mannat instinctively steps back, maintaining her distance.

Just then, Vikrant enters the scene, his demeanor serious as he questions Bobi’s presence. Bobi explains that he feels remorse for the situation and that he was trying to stop Mannat from leaving. Vikrant, sensing the tension, turns to Mannat and apologizes, asking her to reconsider her decision to leave. “My mother shouldn’t have humiliated you like that,” he says earnestly, acknowledging that he had been rude to her without knowing the full truth of the situation. Despite his sincere apology, Mannat remains resolute and tells him not to apologize. She is determined to leave.

In another part of the house, Mallika is unpacking her belongings, and she warns Mannat not to leave. Mannat firmly denies her request, but Mallika pretends to be angry, accusing Mannat of not informing her that Sunita is her mother. “You didn’t care to share that with me,” Mallika complains, feigning hurt feelings. Mannat tries to explain that she attempted to talk to Mallika, but her friend wasn’t responsive. In a dramatic turn, Mallika declares that if Mannat leaves, their friendship will be over.

Mannat, feeling the weight of the situation, reassures Mallika that she won’t leave and tells her not to pretend to be angry. The two friends share a heartfelt hug, and Mallika then asks Vikrant to accompany her. In a moment of desperation, Mannat calls a broker to arrange a rental house for herself. Vikrant, however, snatches the phone away from her, insisting that she cannot leave. He argues that he has already helped her significantly and points out that she owes him money, which she must repay before vacating the place. Reluctantly, Mannat agrees to his terms, though Vikrant feels a pang of guilt for being harsh with her. He wishes things were different but believes he has no other choice.

Later, the tension escalates as Neetu, Vikrant’s mother, complains to her husband about Vikrant’s support for Mannat over his own family. Roni, clearly frustrated, lashes out at Neetu for humiliating Mannat in front of everyone. “You went too far today,” he scolds her, defending Vikrant’s decision to stand by Mannat. Aishwarya, witnessing the argument, asks Roni why he is reprimanding Neetu. He explains that Neetu has been excessively harsh on Mannat, and Vikrant was right to support her. Roni storms out in anger, leaving Neetu fuming.

In the midst of this family drama, Neetu expresses her disappointment to Aishwarya, noting that Vikrant hasn’t come to console her yet. Aishwarya, trying to reassure her, mentions that Mallika will handle everything. Neetu insists that she intends to convince Mannat to stay, but Aishwarya warns her that if she hadn’t agreed to try to make peace, Vikrant would have demanded an apology from Neetu. Mallika, on her side, tells Vikrant how thankful she is for his gratitude, promising to always be there for him. She reveals to Aishwarya that she successfully managed to impress Vikrant that day, believing that helping Mannat will bring her closer to him.

As the episode progresses, Aishwarya reminds Neetu that Burman’s daughter’s wedding is today, implying that Mannat has a lot of responsibilities at the restaurant and likely won’t attend the wedding. Bobi overhears this conversation, his interest piqued.

Meanwhile, Mannat is visibly upset as she struggles with her emotions. Sunita, trying to reach out to her, attempts to clarify her position. “I am not your mother; I am Shruthi,” she states, emphasizing her desire to help Mannat cope with the current challenges. Sunita threatens to send Mannat to jail if she doesn’t comply with her demands, further complicating Mannat’s situation.

In a lighter moment, Mannat discovers that her button is broken, causing her to worry that Puneet will scold her for being late. Vikrant steps in to help her stitch it back on, but he can’t resist teasing her, which brings a fleeting smile to her face. Mannat, still feeling the weight of her troubles, leaves the room, while Vikrant finds himself enjoying the playful banter with her.

Later, Puneet instructs Mannat to complete her work at the restaurant, sensing that something is off with Vikrant’s demeanor. Vikrant, feeling the tension in the air, wonders what is truly going on.

As the episode draws to a close, the emotional stakes are high, setting the stage for further developments in Mannat’s journey and her relationships with Vikrant, Mallika, and the others.
