The episode opens with a tense conversation between Manoj and Alka. Manoj, with a stern expression, informs Alka that he cannot become a father and adamantly states that he will not allow her to conceive with anyone else’s child. He emphasizes that this baby is her last hope, the only chance for her to experience motherhood. He insists that this child will call Alka “Mother,” a title he believes holds significant weight. However, he warns her that if she assists Arjun and Megha in their escape, it will create an insurmountable wall between them. He presents Alka with a difficult choice: the baby or the wall. Just then, they hear the sound of a baby crying, which adds intensity to the moment.

Manoj orders Alka to give the baby to Megha, but Alka, determined and protective, asserts that she can handle the baby herself. Manoj smirks, challenging her to prove it. This exchange showcases the power struggle between them, with Alka trying to assert her role as a mother while Manoj maintains his control.

Meanwhile, Megha, who has also heard the cries, turns to Arjun and expresses concern for the baby, referring to her affectionately as “Choti.” Arjun corrects her, reminding her that it is a baby, not a nickname. He warns Megha that they must keep the truth from Manoj, as revealing it could jeopardize everything. Megha, frustrated with Manoj’s treatment of the baby, questions him about why he is causing distress to the child. Arjun, stepping in, insists that the baby needs her mother, emphasizing the bond between Megha and her child.

As Alka approaches with the baby, she tries to soothe her, whispering comforting words. Manoj arrives and reiterates his demand for Alka to take the baby to Megha. Reluctantly, Alka complies, and as soon as Megha holds the baby in her arms, the infant calms down, illustrating the innate connection between mother and child. Arjun comments on Manoj’s lack of understanding regarding a mother’s role in comforting her child, while Alka explains that Manoj’s distrust prevents him from allowing the baby to sleep near them.

In a tender moment, Arjun wraps the baby in Megha’s dupatta, and they share their plans for the following day, hinting at their escape. Alka, feeling the weight of her responsibilities, takes the baby to her room. Manoj, still skeptical, warns Alka that if the baby cries in the middle of the night, she won’t be able to manage. He insists that she hand the baby over to Megha, but Alka, determined to prove herself, insists that she can handle it.

The next day, the atmosphere shifts dramatically as locals gather, chanting “Chote Shahbhadur ki jai,” celebrating Manoj’s ambitions for his son. Manoj, filled with pride, declares that his son will rule the world. The priest arrives to commence the “Doodh Snaan” ceremony, instructing everyone to close their eyes. However, he adds a shocking remark: a girl cannot be Shahbhadur of Bandipur. This revelation leaves Manoj in disbelief as he looks at the baby, questioning how it is possible when the doctor assured him he would have a son.

Arjun, seizing the moment, tells Manoj that the doctor is not infallible and reveals the unsettling truth: the baby is a girl. He demands that Manoj hand over the baby so they can leave. Manoj, in a fit of rage, declares that if the baby is a boy, he will rule, but if it’s a girl, she will die. This intense moment is revealed to be a nightmare experienced by Megha, who wakes up screaming in terror.

Alka rushes in with the baby, and Megha, still shaken, shares her dream with Arjun. He reassures her that they must proceed with their plan, urging Alka to speak to Manoj about their needs. Alka approaches Manoj, who is perplexed by the sudden change in their dynamics.

Manoj confronts Megha, questioning her about the new drama unfolding. Arjun interjects, claiming that Megha is unable to feed the baby. Manoj, confused, inquires about what’s wrong with her. Arjun quickly concocts a story about Megha suffering from acidity and indigestion. Seizing the opportunity, he requests Manoj to arrange for ice cream for Megha, convincing him to conduct the ceremony in the evening instead. Manoj, eager to please, leaves to prepare an icebox for Megha.

With their plan in motion, Arjun explains to Megha and Alka that smoke will spread when the priests perform the “Doodh Snaan” ceremony with the baby in the milk bowl. Later, as the ceremony begins, Megha and Arjun don shawls and prepare to make their escape. When the smoke fills the house, they seize the opportunity to slip away unnoticed.

However, Manoj quickly realizes that this is Arjun’s scheme and becomes furious. Meanwhile, Alka successfully reaches the Nepal border, vowing to care for the baby as a mother would.

On the other side, Megha and Arjun anxiously await Alka’s arrival with the baby, growing increasingly concerned about her absence. They spot Manoj searching for them, and Megha begins to worry that Alka may have deceived them. She speculates that Alka might want to keep the baby for herself, fearing that she may never become a mother. Arjun, however, believes something is amiss, pointing out that Alka knows she cannot hide the truth from Manoj forever.

As they observe a camp near the Nepal border, Arjun concludes that Alka is aware of it and could cross the border without Manoj’s interference. The episode ends on a cliffhanger, leaving viewers anxious about Alka’s intentions and the fate of the baby.
