The episode begins with Megha sitting in a dimly lit room, her expression one of despair and exhaustion. She gazes upward, speaking softly to God, expressing her feelings of being trapped in a situation that seems impossible to escape. “I’m tired of fighting,” she confesses, her voice trembling. She dreams of a future filled with happiness alongside Arjun and their baby, and she pleads with God to show her the way. “Please help me,” she whispers, longing for Arjun to be by her side once more.
Meanwhile, Arjun is on a mission of his own. Disguised in a simple outfit, he arrives at a secluded location, clutching a piece of rupee that Mahendra had given him. He approaches a man who seems to be waiting for him, and upon handing over the money, the man’s eyes narrow in recognition. “Mahendra sent you, didn’t he?” he asks, a hint of suspicion in his voice. Arjun nods, introducing himself as Jishnu. The man raises an eyebrow, questioning the unusual name. “Did you not hear about Arjun?” Jishnu replies, his tone lightening the mood. However, the man quickly pulls out a gun, pointing it at Jishnu. “Chill,” Jishnu says, trying to diffuse the tension. “I was just referring to the great warrior from the Mahabharata.”
Back at home, the atmosphere is tense as Manoj sits alone, drinking heavily. Alka enters the room, her face a mix of concern and frustration. “That’s the fifth bottle, Manoj. You need to stop,” she implores him, but he scoffs at her worry. “Are you keeping an eye on me?” he retorts defiantly. Alka insists that she won’t allow him to drink himself into oblivion, to which Manoj responds with arrogance, proclaiming himself the “god of Bandipur.” He denies any wrongdoing, claiming he hasn’t murdered anyone. Alka, desperate to reach him, urges him to embrace his humanity instead of his monstrous behavior.
In a fit of rage, Manoj slaps Alka, questioning whether he truly is a monster. He tells her that she hasn’t seen his true nature yet, and in a shocking display of violence, he begins to beat her with his belt. He reveals that Ghooran wants to marry Megha, and Alka’s protests only fuel his anger. Just as he raises his hand again, Megha bursts into the room, grabbing the belt and warning Manoj to stop his assault on Alka.
Manoj, enraged, turns his aggression toward Megha, straggling her momentarily before she pushes him away. “I won’t let you hurt anyone,” she declares fiercely, standing her ground. Manoj, unfazed, questions her defiance, reminding her that they are in Bandipur, not Georgia. In a moment of desperation, Megha grabs a broken piece of glass and threatens him, her determination shining through her fear.
At that moment, a drunken Ghooran stumbles into the chaos, demanding to know what is happening. Megha quickly informs him that Manoj was attacking Alka. Ghooran, despite his own flaws, scolds Manoj for his actions. Manoj retorts that Alka is his wife and insists that Ghooran should not interfere in his affairs. Ghooran turns to Alka, chastising her for not respecting her husband and leaving with Manoj, his authority asserting itself in the room.
Once they are gone, Megha rushes to Alka, checking if she is alright. Alka, visibly shaken, expresses her frustration, telling Megha that her presence is ruining her life. “Ghooran spoke to me that way because of you,” she laments. Megha, feeling defeated, reveals that she has tried to escape twice but has always been caught. “I’ve accepted my fate,” she admits, her voice heavy with resignation. Alka, however, shakes her head, determined to help her friend. “You’re lying,” she insists. “I switched off the speaker, and Manoj is sleeping. You can still escape.”
With newfound hope, Megha gathers some fruit and other essentials into a bag, preparing for her escape. Just then, Ghooran enters her room, his intentions clear as he tries to misbehave with her. “I’m like your daughter,” Megha protests, but Ghooran coldly dismisses her claim. In a surge of courage, she strikes him, managing to break free and escape from his grasp. She rushes to Alka, breathless and terrified, recounting the encounter. Ghooran soon follows her, but Megha stands her ground, challenging him to do whatever he wishes in front of Alka. Ghooran, frustrated, leaves the room.
Alka, sensing the urgency of the situation, advises Megha to get some rest. “You need to be ready to escape early in the morning,” she instructs, her voice filled with determination. As Megha lies down, her mind races with thoughts of freedom and the life she dreams of with Arjun.
