The Episode starts with Megha stepping forward and telling Kabir that, since she’s from the bride’s side, she has the right to ask a few questions. Kabir calmly agrees. Megha then asks about the company he claims to work for in Canada. She decides to verify his employment by calling the company directly. To everyone’s surprise, the person on the other end replies that no one named Kabir Khanna works there.
Jasleen turns to Kabir for an explanation. Kabir admits he left that job six months ago. But Megha isn’t convinced. She points to the documents and salary slips Kabir had shared earlier and claims they look fake, and the records show he was employed there for three years.
Jasleen, clearly emotional, interrupts and says the real problem is Megha. She believes Megha doesn’t want her to marry Kabir at all. Jasleen insists that Kabir’s job or money doesn’t matter to her — she loves him. Megha, on the other hand, calls Kabir a fraud and warns her family that once Jasleen goes to Canada, they won’t be able to help her.
Kabir, now upset, turns to Megha and asks why she feels the need to dig into his life like this. He questions whether he’s ever asked for money or dowry. He explains that he’s an artist, he has savings, and he can take care of Jasleen. His love for her is real. He challenges Megha’s accusations, saying that perhaps she doesn’t understand love, because she doesn’t value marriage.
Suddenly, Megha throws a glass of water on Kabir, saying he needed to be woken up. She then pushes him and tells him to leave the house. She reveals she has already filed a complaint with the police, and they should be arriving soon. In response, Jasleen panics and threatens to harm herself if anything happens to Kabir. Megha quickly takes the butter knife from her and begs her to stop creating a scene.
Kabir then turns to Trilochan, pleading with him not to separate him from Jasleen. He’s willing to prove himself in any way. Jasleen firmly declares that she will marry Kabir no matter what. Megha tries to convince her not to trust him, but Trilochan steps in and warns Megha to stay away from Kabir. Kabir asks Megha to believe in love and stop being so rigid. He reminds everyone that he has his family’s support.
Later, Megha is seen talking to Heer. She reflects on how their mother ended up with the wrong man — Manoj — and says she doesn’t want Jasleen to face the same fate. She promises to expose Kabir.
Meanwhile, Kabir is shown recalling how he cleverly bribed Detective Raj and managed to swap the original file with fake documents. He’s convinced that until he finds the mysterious “bracelet girl,” no one will be able to uncover his truth. For now, he believes he’s won the battle against Megha.
As the night sets in, Kabir sings a soulful, melancholic song. Megha, thinking of her family and all that’s unfolded, watches and quietly sheds tears. Kabir notices her and asks if she was recording him. Megha responds that while he sings beautifully, it doesn’t change the fact that he’s deceiving everyone. Kabir asks her how she could feel pain — as if she truly understands it — and then says that his pain runs deeper than anyone can imagine. Megha replies that everyone lives with pain in some form.
While walking away, Megha stumbles. Kabir instinctively catches her, and she thanks him. He notices she’s bleeding slightly. Before he can help further, he receives a call and rushes off, leaving Megha wondering what was so urgent.
Precap: Megha gets a call from a police officer and learns that Kabir’s mother has been admitted to the city hospital. Curious, she decides to go there. Meanwhile, Kabir sits beside his unconscious mother, speaking gently to her.
