Mera Balam Thanedaar 5th July 2024 Written Episode Update
The scene commences with Bulbul serving kheer to Veer. Varadha and Dev are praising Bulbul’s intelligence. Varadha instructs Veer to finish the kheer in his bowl and not disrespect the food. Sulakshana inquires Geetha about Drishti’s whereabouts.
Geetha mentions that Drishti might be conversing with Druv. Sulakshana assumes that the engagement is off and is unsure if she is pleased or not. She desires to discuss it with Drishti at some point. Meanwhile, Drishti requests Druv’s cooperation in capturing a reel. She expresses her desire to share their engagement news on social media from a unique perspective, focusing on the issue of domestic violence. Initially, Druv declines, but Drishti persuades him. She asks him to pretend to strangle her neck, which he refuses. She then asks him to slap her, to which he also declines.
Upon noticing Sulakshana’s presence, she suggests he push her down, and he pretends to do so, causing her injury. She then requests him to refrain from approaching her.
Subsequently, Sulakshana causes a commotion at the engagement ceremony by alleging that Druv pushed Drishti down. Druv clarifies that they were filming a reel together. Veer defends Druv, stating that he wouldn’t behave in such a manner. Sulakshana insists that she witnessed the incident firsthand. Drishti admits that she can no longer conceal the truth.
Drishti claims that she consented to marry Druv due to Bulbul’s persistence. Despite revealing the truth to her, Bulbul is not on her side. Bulbul urges her to end the charade. Drishti alleges that Druv raised his hand against her. She informed Bulbul, but her pleas fell on deaf ears. She cannot go through with the marriage. Druv denies the accusations, while Bulbul accuses Drishti of putting on an act. Sulakshana questions Bulbul if she doesn’t see Drishti’s injury, as Drishti, her own sister, is in tears. Bulbul, however, remains indifferent. She believes that Drishti manipulated her and led her into a trap.
Drishti expresses her frustration at not being believed. Dev points out that they come from a respected family, and Veer is certain that Druv would never harm a woman. Sulakshana argues that innocence cannot be assumed solely based on reputation, as she witnessed the truth. She even goes on to say that Drishti is a better match for Vishesh. This revelation shocks everyone present. Druv attempts to clarify the situation, but Veer intervenes and returns the ring to Druv, while Dev escorts him away.
Bulbul inquires Drishti about the incident. Veer urges her to cease her questioning. Varadha advises him to listen to Bulbul for once. Sulakshana refutes the claim. Geetha remarks that it’s all a drama. Sulakshana argues that she is her mother, despite showing favoritism. She questions if she sees her wounds and tears. Bulbul becomes furious upon witnessing this. She accuses Drishti of lying. Veer stands by Drishti’s side. Bulbul tells him that he knows Drishti is a liar, having deceived him multiple times. She questions how he can trust her over Druv, his childhood friend and a police officer.
Bulbul insists that he should hear both sides of the story and not blindly support Drishti. Veer mentions that Sulakshana witnessed the incident and he believes his mother. He asserts that Bulbul is misunderstanding the situation, thinking that Drishti is trying to take her husband away. Bulbul argues that she only wanted happiness for everyone.
Veer declares that he has ended the relationship and is there to support Bulbul. He demands an apology from Drishti, but Bulbul refuses, citing Veer’s own teachings about not apologizing when not at fault. Veer recalls how Drishti framed Druv and decides to play along to expose her plan. He commends Bulbul for standing up for the truth and instructs her to stay away from Drishti. He then takes Drishti away from the scene.
