The episode opens with Sanju telling Parvati that he can read her feelings in her eyes. Parvati responds that it’s actually his feelings reflecting back at him and claims she has no emotions for him. She walks away. Later, Sukhwinder questions Gurpreet about her return. Sukhwinder argues that since Neeti isn’t a daughter-in-law of their family, she shouldn’t have the right to stay there. She suggests that she hasn’t shown Neeti her true anger yet. Gurpreet counters that Neeti lacks the courage to confront her in the village and that she provided Neeti shelter. Sukhwinder insists that her daughter permitted Neeti to stay after Parineet’s death, which is the same.
Neeti then challenges Gurpreet, expressing her intent to create discord between her and Parvati and threatening to throw her out. Gurpreet dismisses her, insisting she cannot compare to Parvati, whom she describes as a goddess. Neeti retorts that she won’t heed Gurpreet’s words. Gurinder interjects, questioning Neeti’s presence. Gurpreet states that she refuses to speak to Neeti again and that her lawyer will handle it. Babli arrives with the lawyer, who Parvati watches from a distance.
The lawyer introduces himself as a high court attorney representing Gurpreet. He accuses Neeti of coercing Gurpreet into transferring her land to Neeti and Daljeet, claiming they swindled her out of crores worth of property. He warns that there’s no way out for Neeti; she faces arrest and jail time. Neeti accuses him of threats, but he insists he is stating facts, revealing a forged agreement. Neeti tears it up, but the lawyer presents the original document. She tears that as well. He reprimands her childish antics, stating he has already filed the documents with the court. When Neeti yells at him, he cautions her not to act out in court, or she could face additional charges. He advises her to find a lawyer for her defense, threatening to call the police if she continues misbehaving. They arrange to meet in court, and later, Gurpreet thanks the lawyer, who reassures her that Parvati already covered his fees.
Gurpreet tells Babli about her special bond with Parvati. Parminder questions why Gurpreet hadn’t spoken up sooner. Gurpreet reveals she was devastated after Parvati’s passing, but Parvati inspired her to reclaim her rights and found this lawyer for her. Parminder praises Parvati as a goddess. Daljeet then enters and makes a comment, revealing that a friend asked him to meet Gurpreet, which she assumes relates to Neeti.
Neeti complains to Gurinder about being taunted by Parineet’s mother, to which Gurinder reminds her that she was once like a second mother to Sanju. Neeti insists she won’t let anyone divide her from Parvati. Gurinder asserts Neeti isn’t easily swayed, reflecting on how Neeti had treated Parineet. Neeti threatens to retaliate against Gurpreet for the lawyer’s intimidation. Parvati arrives, and Neeti apologizes for any misunderstandings, claiming Rakesh is the instigator. Parvati, however, dismisses her rambling, stating she needs a loan because her banks have withdrawn their investments. Parvati asks Neeti to text her the amount and leaves when invited to lunch, thinking she must persuade Parvati, her last hope.
Daljeet claims he is still there for her. Meanwhile, Sanju stops Parvati, flirting and placing her hand on his heart, declaring their mutual love. Daljeet relays his conversation with the lawyer to Neeti, who asserts to Gurinder that she will win this case. Gurinder agrees that Parvati was the right choice for daughter-in-law, being strong and principled while Neeti quakes in her presence. Sukhwinder accuses Gurpreet of taking advantage of the situation and looking down on her daughter. Gurinder maintains that truth prevails in the end, and expresses confidence that Gurpreet will triumph in court. Sanju tells Parvati that he knows she has feelings for him.
