The episode opens with Devraj Indra declaring his certain victory due to possessing Lord Shiv’s trishul. He sets off with his followers to eliminate Mahishaasur.
Meanwhile, Shukracharya hears the sound of a bull and commands the asurs to excavate the area, confident that Mahishaasur is hidden there. Devraj Indra arrives with his group, catching Shukracharya’s attention as he spots Lord Shiv’s trishul. Shukracharya taunts Devraj Indra, suggesting that his reliance on the trishul indicates a lack of faith in his own strength. Devraj Indra counters, stating that since the enemy has received a boon from Brahmadev, seeking Lord Shiv’s assistance is justified.
Unfazed, Shukracharya asserts his determination to proceed regardless. Devraj Indra retorts, emphasizing that he was not taught to accept defeat and aims to block Shukracharya from reaching Mahishaasur. He utilizes Lord Shiv’s trishul, turning the ground into stone. The asurs, unable to dig further, question Shukracharya on how they will locate Mahishaasur. Devraj Indra proclaims that Lord Shiv’s power is unbeatable. Shukracharya claims he can extract Mahishaasur, prompting Devraj Indra to challenge him to try.
At Kailash, Mata Parvati inquires about the situation, while Kartikeya expresses confusion over Shukracharya’s boldness against such a formidable power. Ganesh advises caution about underestimating Shukracharya.
Shukracharya instructs the bulls to unearth Mahishaasur, asserting that maternal strength can overcome Lord Shiv’s might. He urges them to bring forth Mahishaasur as if he were their own child. The bulls attempt to dissolve the stones using their milk, leaving Devraj Indra astounded. Shukracharya announces that Mahishaasur’s rebirth is imminent.
Chandra Dev warns Devraj Indra to act swiftly, or the bulls will succeed. Devraj Indra vows to eliminate the bulls with Lord Shiv’s trishul, hurling it towards them. However, Lord Shiv intervenes, declaring that neither he nor his trishul will oppose the power of motherhood.
As the bulls’ milk envelops Mahishaasur, he awakens. Devraj Indra implores the Tridev for assistance, but Shukracharya insists their efforts are futile, foretelling an era of asur dominance.
Narad warns Lord Shiv that Mahishaasur’s rebirth spells disaster for both the universe and Devraj Indra. Lord Shiv responds that karma is inescapable and recalls how Devraj Indra had slain Mahishaasur’s parents, stating that punishment is inevitable and rebirth will come to pass.
Emerging, Mahishaasur is greeted with chants of “Mahishaasur ki jai!” He locks eyes with Devraj Indra and lets out a fierce scream, prompting Indra to draw his weapon as Mahishaasur retaliates with his powers.
