The episode begins with Suman teaching Devika a harsh lesson. Devika’s attempts to defame Suman backfire when Suman exposes her deceitful plan, prompting Devika to retract all her accusations. As the public turns against her, Devika becomes increasingly anxious and tries to act amiable towards Suman. However, Suman is determined to punish Devika for her cruel actions.
Suman decides that Devika must serve food to those in need as a form of atonement. Seizing the opportunity for her own benefit, Devika tries to use this act of service as a publicity stunt to enhance her political image. Yet, Suman has a different form of punishment in mind. She equates the impoverished individuals with deities and insists that Devika wash their feet, fully aware of how much Devika despises the poor.
Reluctantly, Devika begins to wash the feet of the gathered poor people, feeling humiliated and furious with Suman. As she continues, something pricks her finger, and Suman jeers at her, reminding Devika of her previous contempt for those less fortunate.
Meanwhile, Teerth grapples with sadness as he watches Rishi being comforted by Vikram. Teerth is deeply troubled by the uncertainty surrounding Rishi’s paternity. Gitanjali Devi, noticing her son’s distress, reassures him that the truth will eventually emerge. When Rishi returns to Indore, he senses a glimmer of hope regarding Suman’s return and still believes that Rishi is his biological son. Gitanjali Devi prays for divine intervention, finding similarities between Teerth and Rishi that suggest Teerth could indeed be Rishi’s father.
Suman approaches Chandrakant and is taken aback when he fails to recognize her, completely forgetting her name. Confused by his strange behavior, Suman soon learns that Chandrakant is suffering from Alzheimer’s, which causes him to forget his loved ones at times. Akhil implores Suman to return to the Mittal family, but she firmly declines, stating that she holds no special affection for them. Akhil shares how he has learned to navigate life correctly, acknowledging his past mistakes while expressing his newfound understanding of right and wrong.
As the episode progresses, Teerth calls for Rishi, but Suman prevents him from seeing Teerth. Reva also expresses her desire to play with Rishi, irritating Suman further as she observes the hope Teerth and Gitanjali Devi still hold.
