The episode opens with Roshni, who finds herself feeling ravenously hungry late at night while the rest of the household sleeps. Struggling to maintain her enthusiasm, she is increasingly burdened by the rituals she is expected to follow. In an attempt to comfort her, Tejas offers a soothing massage. However, their moment is abruptly interrupted when Renuka enters the room, chastising them for not adhering to the strict rules of the rituals.
Meanwhile, Riya also experiences a late-night craving for fast food. Renuka, however, firmly prohibits her from bringing any non-vegetarian dishes into the house. Sayali, eager to prepare something for Riya, is met with the same resistance from Renuka, who refuses to allow any cooking.
Shortly after, Renuka instructs Sayali to prepare food specifically for Roshni. Sachin reminds her that the priest has explicitly forbidden Sayali from cooking for Roshni; instead, Roshni is required to prepare her own meals. Tejas pleads with his mother to ease the burden of these rules, but Renuka remains steadfast in her decision. Ultimately, Roshni is left with no choice but to cook for herself, following her mother-in-law’s directives.
As dawn breaks, Renuka forbids Sayali from making rangoli that day, insisting that Roshni take on the task in front of their main gate. Roshni, unsure of how to create rangoli, is pressured by Renuka to proceed. With Tejas’s assistance, she begins by cleaning the floor with cow dung. Sayali watches on, feeling sympathy for Roshni, while Sachin mocks them as he departs in his car.
The next morning, Sayali serves aloo paratha for breakfast to Aakash and Riya, who both commend her culinary skills. However, Renuka dismisses their praise, refusing to acknowledge Sayali’s efforts. Riya suggests that Sayali should consider opening a restaurant, which she believes would be a hit in the city. Renuka quickly intervenes, snatching the plate away from Roshni, who feels increasingly frustrated with her mother-in-law’s behavior yet remains silent. Sachin’s teasing only adds to Roshni’s feelings of suffocation within the Deshmukh household, prompting her to storm away from the table in anger.
