Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai : Abhimanyu Gets Promoted ; Mahima Gets Jealous !

In today’s episode of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai we saw Abhimanyu and Akshara getting romantic. Abhimanyu gets a call from Tauji who requests him to come to the dining table. He says that the family has seen so many ups and down that now he wants to have breakfast with the entire family at one table.

Tau ji announces that his tenure as a Medical Director is about to end so he has decided to announce the name of the new medical director of the hospital. He says that he will announce the name in front of the media.

Parth and Nishta congratulate Mahima on becoming the new MD. Mahima says that the name has not been announced yet. Parth says that she is the one who can be the MD after Anand. Mahima thinks that a woman always has to work harder than a man to ascend in the corporate hierarchy.

Arohi meets Mahima and asks her not to remove her from her position. Mahima says that the connection between them. She wants to sort things out and for that she will have to fire hire. Arohi is in shock to see her plan fail. Neil comes and says that Karma always comes back. Arohi tries to talk to him but he leaves.

Abhimanyu and Akshara reach the hospital hand in hand. Anand announces the name of the new medical director and to everyone’s surprise, he names Abhimanyu as the new medical director. He asks Mahima to put the badge of MD on Abhimanyu’s coat. Mahim is shocked and stands still in disbelief.

Abhimanyu asks Anand if he is sure. He says that Mahima is more educated and experienced than him and it should be her who should become the MD. Anand asks Abhimanyu to trust him. Abhimanyu addresses the media and says that he just wants to take the legacy of Birla forward. He credits his success to Akshara. Rohan says that now he will have to be in his good books now. Abhimanyu tells him that he will get over time for poor jokes.

Mahima confronts Anand on his decision. Anand says that she did wrong with Abhimanyu and Akshara and now she needs to pay for her deeds. He says that he does not doubt her capabilities but she should know that Karam always comes back. He asks her to move on and have a big heart. Mahima gets irked.

Precap: Akshara learns about Vansh’s alliance. She goes to the Goenkas. Manjiri is upset with Akshara for giving her family priority over them.
