The episode opens with Chadda urging the Chairman to disclose the truth to everyone present. The Chairman explains that Bhagyashree initially joined the company as a single woman, but later submitted her marriage certificate. He clarifies that since Bhagyashree was the first to join, he had not included her husband’s name in the company records.
As the meeting progresses, Rishabh turns to Bhagyashree, reminding her of his earlier advice to trust him. Nitya expresses her frustration, chastising everyone for wasting their Sunday on what she deems an unnecessary meeting. Once the meeting concludes, Padma reassures Vinay that the issue has been resolved. Lajjo takes the opportunity to request Padma to invite her the next time she prepares South Indian cuisine, to which Padma agrees. Lajjo then praises Rishabh, calling him “one in a million,” and expresses that Bhagyashree is fortunate to have him. After Lajjo departs, Padma inquires if Vinay’s doubts have been alleviated, and he affirms that they have. Meanwhile, Sowmya contemplates revealing evidence at a later time.
Bhagyashree confronts Rishabh, asking how he obtained the Bangkok trip photos of Chadda and his associates. Rishabh explains that he discovered them in the office room. Pramidh confides in Mukul about his marital status, expressing concern that if those photos are made public, he will face serious repercussions. He admits that he complied with Rishabh’s request out of fear. Bhagyashree also questions Rishabh about how he managed to secure the marriage certificate, to which he reveals that Sunny facilitated it. Grateful, Bhagyashree thanks Rishabh and acknowledges Sunny’s role in bringing Rishabh into her life.
In a teasing manner, she asks Rishabh if he loves Sunny, to which Rishabh responds affirmatively, clarifying that Sunny is his brother. Bhagyashree, taken aback by this revelation, confronts him further. Rishabh reassures her that he is not like Sunny and is only attracted to women. This revelation shocks Bhagyashree, who had previously assumed Rishabh was gay. She instructs him to leave the room, handing him a pillow and a blanket. When Rishabh questions what mistake he has made and expresses concern about how her parents might view him sleeping outside, Bhagyashree remains firm in her decision not to let him in. Frustrated, she attempts to call Nitya to vent her feelings, but Nitya does not answer.
Sowmya, observing the interactions, thinks highly of Rishabh’s intelligence. She worries that if he becomes Vinay’s favorite, their father might consider giving the Chennai house to Bhagyashree. At that moment, Karthik approaches Sowmya, asking for acidity medicine, and inadvertently burps loudly, which annoys her, prompting her to throw him out. Outside, Karthik encounters Rishabh and inquires if he has also been kicked out. Rishabh confirms this, nostalgically mentioning that he misses his bachelor life. They both settle down to sleep in the hall, with Rishabh reflecting on the situation, pondering why Bhagyashree is punishing him and what he might have done wrong.
Meanwhile, Nitya discusses Rishabh with Sonia, asserting that he was the ideal choice to portray Bhagyashree’s husband and that he handled the meeting adeptly. Later, Nitya learns from a peon that Bhagyashree has not come to the office and decides to call her. When Bhagyashree answers, she is upset and reveals that Rishabh is not gay, contrary to popular belief. The call ends abruptly when Padma interrupts her.
Padma then requests Bhagyashree to select a saree and jewelry for Meenakshi’s wedding. Despite Bhagyashree’s insistence that she already possesses everything needed, Padma insists that new items are necessary. She also mentions the need for a tailor to stitch clothes for Rishabh, to which Rishabh responds that his assistant, Sunny, will take care of it.
Sowmya enters the scene, feigning surprise at having seen their passports by chance. She questions why Bhagyashree has not changed her surname and why their addresses differ. Vinay checks the passports and confronts Bhagyashree, demanding the truth. Just as Rishabh is about to speak, Bhagyashree intervenes, declaring that she can no longer lie. She is on the verge of confessing when the doorbell rings. In a hurry, Rishabh collects the passports and presents new ones, claiming, “These are the real ones. We’re leaving for a trip to America. What Sowmya found were old documents.” He further states, “I never wanted my wife to change her surname—she’ll always be Bhagyashree Iyer. Only our address has changed.”
Bhagyashree appears uncomfortable as Rishabh places a hand on her shoulder, quickly retracting it. He continues, explaining that Bhagyashree canceled the trip upon learning that her family was visiting. Padma offers her apologies, and Rishabh adds that she was excited about their visit, but he struggled to articulate it.
Sowmya then probes Rishabh about his bank passbook, to which he explains that it is an old one and that they now have a joint account. Padma urges Sowmya to dismiss her doubts. As everyone retires to their rooms, Bhagyashree confronts Rishabh, demanding to know why he lied again. Rishabh responds that he did it for her father’s health and advises her to tell him the truth when he is calm. He acknowledges how much she loves her father and emphasizes that she has been enduring this situation for five years. He urges her to ensure that her father does not suffer when he eventually learns the truth. Just then, Padma enters the room.
In the upcoming scenes, Rishabh assists Bhagyashree in getting ready. Later, Vinay observes Rishabh sneaking out of the house, growing suspicious of his actions.
